The old Panama City. Walking along the Amador causeway to the 3 islands. History of the place. Favourite place to eat was the Panama Yacht club - excellent food and drink offering at great prices. Really easy to get an Uber to get around the place. Great vibe in Casco Vieja

Panama city is nice and people are very helpful although few speak English but are helpful and friendly.
Strange part is most of the city is covered with forest area. Sometimes greenery is just at the end of the road and while we felt that we have entered forest area, in minutes we do see the city come alive.
Canal is worth visiting and satisfying although, an hour is needed to be spent to understand how ships cross.
Enjoyed Casco Viejo, Walking tour conducted by very energetic Jullian and bit of panama food in same area.

We found the Cosco Viejo neighborhood to be a terrific central location for our activities. It has lots of resturants, public squares, shops, galleries, and markets. It also had lots of free activities and celebrations. Getting around is easy with Uber or a taxi and the price is so low that getting a car (and parking it) is silly. The cost is often less than a dollar a mile. But we also did a lot of walking and this part of Panamana City has lots and lots of places with huge panoramic views of the Pacific.

Panama City is the nicest city to visit.
Panama City is the nicest city to visit. With a metro card you can explore every corner with busses and metro lines. Ubers also work well. Easy to catch metro from Tocumen International airport to the city. The friendliest helpful people I have ever met. The minute you look lost, there's someone trying to help you to your destination.

beautiful hotel with great rooms and welcoming and highly efficient young team located in the heart of Casco Viejo vowing the bay and the sky line of the new town of Panama City. The rooms are beautifully decorated and well equipped with a porch to relax and take your coffee in the morning. public parking is next door and several valet parking options available.
I will defiantly come again to stay at Villa Palma on my next trip to Panama!
This was the second time I stayed here, using it as a transition hotel as I passed through Panama City. Both times my room was dark and industrial feeling. But it had al that it needed and was in Casco Viejo, the lovely historical neighborhood.
This was my second stay during my trip to Panama City, the first 3 nights here were lovely. However, I had a room in a different side of the hotel for this night and it was noisy.
