Remarkably quiet! Very big and pleasant pool facilities.. but no pool lights to swim at night, unfortunately. Staff were helpful and kind. Room was very comfortable & safe. Only downfall was no elevator, but there is a luggage elevator.

THe host did try to help us get a ride to get some dinner at a Mall. It was a walk-up restaurant like we see in US food courts at a mall. That was our only access to a restaurant.

I really liked the location. It was in a neighborhood and the neighborhood was interesting, very safe, and there was a really delicious seafood restaurant within very easy walking distance (a couple of blocks away). It was one of those restaurant experiences which I love: It was not fancy but very nice, clean and comfortable, and the food was absolutely outstanding. The whole experience was low key, very local, and very comfortable and accommodating.
The owners of the home were very nice.
I was going to stay at the place as a single person and applied online in that manner. But I ended up meeting a woman during customs at the airport who had not reserved a place to spend the night. I am a man and I was heading back to the U.S. after two months in Colombia. I am 71. The woman was Bolivian and was going back home after visiting family in Arizona for a couple of months. She was 60. At the airport, in Customs, she was somewhat nervous because she didn’t have an address to give to customs as to where she was going to spend a night. Usually, Customs agents want to know where you are going. Long story short, I invited her to stay at the place I had rented. I could tell she was in need of a place to stay for the night but, understandably, she wasn’t sure about accepting an offer from a stranger to go to a private place in a city she did not know. And, she didn’t speak any English! My Spanish is not great but we were able to communicate well enough. I could tell she was hesitant to accept my offer and I didn’t want to be pushy. She ended up coming with me to the apt. and we ended up relaxing and having a really nice evening, a nice dinner at the restaurant I mentioned, and the next morning we had time to make coffee and converse before a cab came for us.
It was all very platonic but it worked out well. I felt bad because I had told the owners of the location that I was traveling alone when I made the reservation. But they were understanding. It was, and is, a special place

Entry to customs after deplaning was miserably long (almost 2 hours) we were NOT prepared for this. Very little English speaking officials to help explain what was happening. Customs appeared to be short staffed that late in the evening and fingerprinting, answering all of the detailed questions about where, what address, dates, etc. was very time consuming. Outside of customs, Tocumen was good for our overnighter prior to our shuttle to the Colon cruise port.

I hope this is in reference to the airport.
I hope this is in reference to the airport. It is brand new and terminal two is the worst laid out plan. It is already falling apart. When arriving internationally you leave your flight right into the general population of the airport. You then have to walk to the end of terminal 2 to get to baggage (we arrived in terminal one). Some walking sidewalks were not working. I don't understand the logic of the setup and mixing outgoing and incoming passengers. The signage left a lot to be desired. Never sure if you are going the right way. We will use the airport again I am sure but for it being new it sure leaves a lot to be desired.

New terminal (to us) but the bathrooms were horrible.
New terminal (to us) but the bathrooms were horrible. Not cleaned, overflowing paper bins dirty floors. Overall it looks like it was hurried construction and now falling apart. No moving sidewalk. We were not impressed with Terminal 2 at all. The prices on food, drink and goods are astronomical. A bottle of water $4.25 (at mini-mart $1). Food is sky high. Guess we haven't been out in the real world (due to the COVID years) and boy were we suprised.

At first, I wasn't sure, but then I realized it was the best option. I've traveled to Panama before and stayed near Tocumen Airport, and it was a disaster. This boutique hotel isn't at the airport, but it offers a quiet, safe area for walking, restaurants of all kinds, bars, and exploring. It's at the entrance to the city. It's my best stopover, and it's a quick trip to the airport via the panoramic superhighway into the city. Thank you very much, Domenico. I will definitely return to your hotel.
The hotel is very beautiful, with an outside swimming pool and good-quality restaurant. Reception employees were very kind and helpful, similarly to the waitresses at the restaurant. It was also quiet at night, so I had a very relaxing night. The airport shuttle was on time.
Panama immigration required a hotel reservation, so I went for the closest cheapest option.
There was confusion about my booking at the hotel, but the front desk stopped me and refunded the mistaken charge. It was unexpected and very cool of her.
