Good location right in the center of the town

The staff was really nice with us the whole time. Always with a smile on their face. The breakfast buffet has many options, so I think it’d be suitable for almost anyone. Loved spending my bday there again.

Bamboo is right away on the beach, quiet and relaxing morning watching the birds. Pools are nice and clean! Plenty of space to relax! Felix and the staff are great and if you need anything there are here to help. Accommodation are simple but comfortable, breakfast is good. Restaurant food is also really good! Wifi is also really good! For Kitesurfer, it’s an amazing spot!

Easy to ger

The front door was locked with a closed sign and the phone number didn't work. Even after contacting Booking there was no way to contact the"hotel" (really a boarding house). Booking made us wait until past the 3 PM check-in time. We waited until 340 PM (more than two hours after our arrival) and right as we were leaving a guy sauntered up to the door and let us in. From that point on it was just bad business. Mind you this entire conversation was in Spanish, which isn't my forte. After not apologizing and instead him saying he tried to call my phone and I didn't answer(which neither am excuse nor true) I told him that it is THEIR responsibility to publish their open times and to certainly be open during check-in times and to have an operating phone. I also said the place looked like it was permanently closed especially considering the phone number wasn't working. Finally, at that point he DID say it was their fault and then let me know we booked a room with two beds and he could move us to one with one bed for $10 more. I told him how ridiculous it was he had us waiting outside with no communication all that time and then was insisting on charging us. I let him know he should be offering us extra to make up for the craziness. We ended up in the room with two beds because I refused to pay him anything extra! The other couple in the boarding house complained they had the same problem and had to ask others in the area to try to find the host and eventually they were able to contact him through good Samaritans. Fortunately they could speak Spanish well, too. Overall, without that crazy hiccup, the value was fair, not good, for a place with very nice common areas. It is essentially a nice multifloor home that was converted into a rooming house where there is reception only for a few hours each day and no one on staff on the property at all times.
