The location is great, away from the chaos of station two but close enough to walk to. The access to very comfortable loungers on the beach was great. The restaurant food was very tasty, portions large. We had breakfast included which was very tasty. The rooms were comfortable. The staff were very friendly, helpful and a real asset to the hotel

Hotel Lanterna is a small and quiet hotel with just 8 rooms, making it a good choice for those seeking a more peaceful and personal experience. The absence of mass tourism here is noticeable, and the staff takes the time to treat each guest individually, which I appreciated.
The location is central, so everything you need is within walking distance, adding to the convenience of staying here.
The rooms are bright and tastefully decorated. My room had a small kitchenette with basic utensils, which could be useful for some guests. The balcony on the second floor was practical for drying swimwear and enjoying a bit of fresh air.
A standout feature is the hotel’s Italian restaurant, run by an Italian chef who also owns the hotel. It offers a relaxed atmosphere with authentic Italian dishes and is not overly crowded. Well-regarded among locals, the restaurant adds a charming touch to the hotel’s overall appeal.
One practical advantage of this hotel is its own generator. In Boracay, power outages are quite common and can sometimes last for hours—or even the entire night. For smaller hotels, having a backup power source isn’t always a given, so this is a significant plus. If you’re planning a stay on the island, it’s wise to choose a hotel with either a generator or a solar energy system to ensure uninterrupted comfort, especially during longer outages.
The hotel has a subtle Italian influence, which gives it a unique character. If you’re looking for a quiet, comfortable place to stay with good food, a central location, and the reliability of backup power, Hotel Lanterna is a solid choice.

Boracay is beautiful and so gets the crowds.
Boracay is beautiful and so gets the crowds. The beaches and most of the island have been cleaned nicely compared to before 2018, and the hotels and restaurant, as well electric transport are testament to the great government effort. Some areas are still in progress and beaches off the beaten track are still polluted, but you can tell this is moving in the right direction. Overall Boracay is worth seeing but expect high prices compared to Cebu, Bohol and Palawan. Wouldn't leave it till here to get souveniers, which is a mistake we made and so dried mango in 7eleven in Cebu for 42 peso is here 140 peso and more.

Boracay is a tropical paradise that has something for everyone. From the backpacker to families with children you can find a slice of paradise that will suit you. Boracay has some of the most beautiful beaches in the Philippines and you can still find quiet spots on the island away from crowds. White beach, a very pretty beach with soft white sand, offers great nightlife and many restaurants and shops to choose from. Is it quiet. No, but it offers variety at the end of a great day at the beach on the quiet north end of the island. Boracay isn't big, but has much to offer.

The location is in a quieter part of the island and offers exceptional views of the sunset over the turquoise water of Boracay. The main pool is enormous and often you have it to yourself. The property is extremely clean but some areas, particularly the main reception and corridors appear sterile and empty and could do with some artwork or plants. The best feature of the hotel is the entire staff who have been expertly trained. They are always smiling (always!) and appear happy to be working at The Lind.
The hotel is really nice and located in station 3, which is the most quite on the island, the beach is amazing and clean and also the breakfast at the hotel was very nice. To reach station 2 and 1 its about half an hour walk along the beach with many many restaurants and shops.
Special thanks to the beautiful lady who runs the place, she is very nice and helpful and made our stay so beautifully
Our stay at Shangri La Boracay was a dream. The best hotel experience we've ever had. The private beach, the pool, the amazing staff, the room, the absolutely beautiful buildings were incredible. This place is paradise. The Vintana Cafe breakfast was outstanding. We went snorkeling everyday and loved seeing the giant clams and the clown fish in the corals.
Everything was nice. Staffs are friendly, room was clean, view was nice. Breakfast has many options. The best thing is swimming pool, and the drinks are not expensive too. During my 3 weeks vacation in Philippines , I stayed in 8 different hotels and this one is by far the best one. Highly recommend
Best hotel in White Beach. Just two steps away from the beach. Personel is very nice and friendly. Everything is well organised. Breakfast is rich and tasteful.
