Samal is a quaint and beautiful island.
Samal is a quaint and beautiful island. There are some nice places like the Monfort Bat Sanctuary and the Giant Clam Conservancy. I went to the white sand beach for swimming. Being in a channel, the current was swift so I couldn't really go out beyond the swimming area, and it suddenly gets deep as well. Chema’s by the sea has a rustic vibe. The nature’s landscape definitely added to its beauty and uniqueness. The pool is clean and the beach is nice to swim at when its high tide. The staff is the highlight of the place I would say. Approachable, friendly and well-trained. The food is also their strong asset, it is indeed worth the penny. It is not a white beach but it is very clean compared to a normal beach now a days. There were not much guest when we book so the resort was somehow exclusive to us.
