Pros: Beautiful clean homy hotel with quality furnitures and secure location. Very friendly and attentive staff and owner. Good location. Standby generator. Decent wifi at 10-20 at mbps. Strong hot and cold water supply. They provide private tours at reasonable prices.
Cons: None really.
Side Note for Travellers: (Not hotel fault). The constant power outages are really annoying. While there is basic light and fan supported by the generator you cannot charge your phones nor operate the aircon and TV. Careem rides are also difficult to book in Peshawar in general.

I checked in with my wife. Thanks to Mr. Yasir, Ms. Chahat and their line manager for responding to request prompt. Really enjoyed the hospitality as cordially accommodated by staff throughout our stay. Breakfast tea in open area with a scenic beauty was great.

I had the most wonderful time. I have never experienced such wonderful hospitality as that which I received in Peshawar. Not in my extensive travels around the world. There is a huge amount of security throughout the city. There were a lot of armed police, army and security around the city so, obviously, there is potential danger but I, personally felt absolutely safe and shall returned soon. The food, too, was absolutely delicious.

Despite being warned against an area with a porous border nearby and instability as a result, I met nothing but kindness and generosity when I was there. I wouldn’t recommend the city to someone not used to travelling on their own; it’s good to keep your head down and not provoke.
I took a long walk alone in the early morning to avoid the scorching heat and it was fine.
Eating in the evening in the old city I thoroughly recommend Nisar Charsi’s superb lamb tikka. Fantastic. A picture of the man himself below.

Peshawar is an accent city with excellent values & traditions. Its hospitality is out of this world. There are lots of historical places & buildings to see. Peshawar is known to be the city of flowers. Its rich culture, food & flavours is a treat to experience. Its public transport is very efficient, cheap & comfortable. Qissa Khwani Bazar, is as ancient as the civilisation itself where centuries ago Karawans travelling from Central Asia, Russia passing through historical Khyber Pass would stay at Saraeys (motels) located Qissa Khwani Bazar, meet & greet each other & narrate their travel expeditions to benefits from each other experience.

I m impressed with the cleanliness of Peshawar.
I m impressed with the cleanliness of Peshawar. I believe Peshawar is the best neat and clean city of Pakistan (except few areas).
The hospitality of the people is awesome.
They don't want to take InDrive and private cab's fare from me as they told me that I am their guest.
I love Peshawar and the residents of Peshawar. May Allah subhana wa taala keep them healthy, wealthy and wise as always.

Peshawar is quite different to Lahore, Islamabad etc.
Peshawar is quite different to Lahore, Islamabad etc. because of its proximity to Afghanistan and its Pashto-speaking majority. It is a very conservative area with very few women out and about and those who were wearing the chadaree with their faces completely covered. I have no issues with this but my wife felt a little uncomfortable just being surrounded by hundreds of men all the time. I am not suggesting for one moment that anyone's behaviour was inappropriate in fact quite the opposite :-)

My review with regards to Peshawar would be restricted to the work I was involved with. The city has all of the basic necessities one could ask for. It's one of the more affordable cities to visit and there is a functioning public transport system that I was unable to personally experience, but looked pretty decent from a distance. The local food is a must try, I would personally recommend that you definitely opt towards trying the local eateries.
