Booking.com allows member hotels to exploit customers by using unfair currency exchange rates. This practice cost me about $40 for a weekend stay. I asked Booking.com to make an allowance for this corrupt practice, but it would have cost them money as well. The location of the hotel was ideal for visiting the nearby palace & was also in the centre of the town. The staff were helpful & friendly. We ate in the restaurant the second night of our stay & the food was superb & reasonably priced. The bedrooms were very large but could be a little more modern.
