Came for Eid holiday with my kids. The hotel is lovely but staff not so much unfortunately as almost most of the previous reviews say staff are not very responsive or polite only person that was really friendly was ameel/ameer not sure of his name but he was the only person who had a really nice attitude everyone else was rude.

Located in what once was a picturesque fishing village, Al Sultan is a beach resort resembling a Bedouin fortress. It overlooks it's private beach on the Arabian Gulf and features an outdoor pool.

Great location and helpful and friendly staff. I appreciated the upgraded suite. You can improve on the bakery and breads in the breakfast buffet. More fresh.

    We had an unfortunate experience when checking in with one of the front desk people chasing us to pay the second we stepped into the villa. It turned out it was a mistake on their end and the manager Mr. Santos did a great job to rectify the problem and make us feel better for our bad first impression. THIS IS THE WAY TO DO HOSPITALITY DOHA!! TAKE NOTES!!! I am posting this negative to show how good the stay was and how care and attention to the guest can create repeat visitors. It is cheaper to keep a customer than it is to get a new one. Something places in Qatar need to learn. A bunch of "sorry's" are not enough. Great Job Mr. Santos(manager), front desk, Chef Walter, and the F&B staff!! We will be back!!
