This place is an authentic, cozy log cabin located within a complex that includes a restaurant. The host is very kind and easy to communicate with. Unfortunately, during our stay, the lake was completely dry, but the view was still beautiful. We enjoyed watching cows and horses grazing in the meadows, surrounded by complete peace and quiet.

The cottage accomodation is modest, nothing to write home about. The location a couple of minute drive from the Uvac canyon is great. The owner is exceptional. He speaks German and Spanish. We said we were glad to have dinner. He had no food on a Sunday evening, but drove to the butcher to get some. He prepared a jawdropping royal meal for us, a real culinary highlight. Same for breakfast next day. We never agreed and wondered what the food and drinks were going to cost, simply trusted the owner. Justifiably so, eventually we paid a very friendly price. The best holiday experience is to see confidence rewarded.

We saw around 30 rare species vultures flying over the viewpoints and across the river, so you can imagine what a sight it was!
Had we stayed more, we would have gone fishing for sure as plenty of fish could be seen right from a pedestrian bridge nearby
