The city center itself is chaos, when not in peak season place looks almost deserted.
Really bad infrastructure, roads falling apart, lacking parking, thrash thrown around the place, new buildings keep popping up without any sane planning.
The ski slopes are nice when they work, but the real season is really short which means that when there is good snow it gets overcrowded, out of peak season most of the slopes are closed and you are skiing more on mud then snow.

Skiing in Kopaonik for kids and adults is perfect.
Skiing in Kopaonik for kids and adults is perfect. Wonderfull views from the top. Be carefull with the bills in restorants. It is expensive and they are adding plus things that you did not order. Also, you will think that is the tax specified in the bills and is not. Sometimes they add some tips and sometimes it was written like for example: bill: 2800 din, paid 3100 din, returned 300 din (as you have paid already). The foreigners will think that is a tax and will pay the highest amount stated in the bill. But when we asked for explanation, they said that is a computer mistake. Also somewhere they don't let you with your coats inside and you need to pay 3 euros for hanging the coat. The water is also expensive. Parking is also expensive around Konaci.

The resort is nice, but quite crowded, and there are queues at the ski lifts, especially on weekends.
There are many ski slopes for all tastes and categories of skiers and the connections between the slopes are well-organized.
Unfortunately, around noon, due to high temperatures, some ski slopes deteriorate and may be closed.
We also discovered the car towing service and the post office where fines for parking in prohibited unmarked areas.

Very beautifull place for skiing and enjoying in the mountain. Only thing is that you have to pay for everything like: National park entry, street parking (the air is still free :D) and also don't even think about walking, the street sides are full with snow and you have to walk on the streets, what is really dangerous

If you need a vacation, if you like skiing or just want to see snow, perfect place in Balkans. Fair prices, you find parking near the slopes for 10 euro per day. RSD and card payments are preferred. Prices of food are fair. You find anything you need near the corner. I recommend Dalli Bell for fast serving, panoramic view, big portions, tasty food, variety of the menu, nice waitress, but no WIFI :D

The apartment was absolutely amazing and exceeded our expectations! It had everything we needed and more—clean, neat, modern furniture and thoughtfully equipped. The location is fantastic, just a 5-minute drive to the slopes, with easy parking—a rare find in Kopaonik. The hotel also offers excellent facilities, including a pool, spa, and restaurant, with a supermarket conveniently located in the next building. The owner was incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring we had a perfect stay. Highly recommended!
The hotel has the best staff we have met in any hotel by now. Everyone is so welcoming, helpful, positive. The food was different every day and we just didn’t know what to eat first. We had variety of traditional homemade food especially well cooked meat.
The rooms were very clean, renovated and warm.
The spa worked perfectly, it was so warm around the pool and we could just sit there after skiing all day to warm up. All in all, we had the best experience ever.
very bad experience, even the lift can not reach my floor, i carry 2 luggages and use the stairs. One big hotel have only one lift ? every time the lift are full of people specially the hotel staffs holding full goods inside. The room space is very very very small. not enough 2 people stay. we can not open both luggages at the same time. it is the worst hotel we stay in Kopaonik.
The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the hotel is super clean and spotless, food is amazing, the rooms are really big and contain everything you need. I have been to many hotel and apartments in Kopaonik but this one definitely has the best value for the price.
Vila San is one of the best places to stay at Kopaonik! The location, the breakfast, the room, the staff - everything was excellent. The sauna and the swimming pool were - just what we needed after a full day of skiing. Strongly recommend it!
