The apartment was in the outskirts, middle of the nature. Mr. Dragan (the host) was great and friendly, we were comfortable staying there.

    Very nice place for short stay (3-4) days. Mećavnik is must go visit place, and a ride on Shargan’s 8 (trip with old train on narrow gauge railway) with breathtaking views is something you should not skip.

    Sharganska osmica worth a visit, it a better to book a visit or buy a ticket beforehand, at jatarre train station there is a good place too eat pancakes and other stuff, the place works till 18.30pm I think 1-1,5 days is more then enough for visit, otherwise if you prefer to hike you could take more days

    A jewel in the Balkan hills. The Train Ride through the mountains each s spectacular. Great hiking and biking paths. Saw some motor cycle clubs too. Else just hang out and taste the mountain air. The railway station cafe was super. Great lunch with many surprises. The cherry pie was super

    My favourite place was Mecavnik, Sgarganska Osmica, Banjska Stena, the smallest river, 365 meters long “River of the year”, Zaovine, Visegrad. The best restaurant is in Sarganska Osmica, which has affordable prices for the variety of food they offer. It was very easy to go around with the kind help of the locals who are very helpful.

    Beautiful architecture of the place combining traditional and modern design, surrounded by an amazing scenery. Various activities are available on site, such as spa & wellness, table tennis, hiking.. Staff perfectly helpful. Definitely going back there!

    I've been to Mećavnik many times before and I'll keep coming back. It's a unique setting offering authentic experience. If you are looking for a 5-star hotel that is a copy/paste of a fashionable architecture magazine, go to Hilton or Hyatt. But if you want to experience a cozy feeling of mountain home and relax in a setting where you will see no logos or brands whatsoever (not on the walls, no billboards, no "Coca-Cola" on sunshades) - this is the place.

    Our stay at Cerova Kosa was a highlight of our time in Serbia. The property has bags of character and it is like staying in a fairytale house. It is also very conveniently located for exploring Mokra Gora and the Tara national park. Dragan is the perfect host - very kind and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
