The breakfast was outstanding. We also liked the combination of being near the water and also the forest. The spa was excellent. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable.

Wonderful and thoughtful staff!! Great location, bus right outside the door. You are in Stockholm in less then 10 minutes. Amazing buffet breakfast. Comfortable beds and quiet rooms. We will be back next summer! And then we will try Lilla Viken Beach.

    The owner is a warm and talkative person who speaks English and German. He provided some snacks, fruits and drinks, like a free-minibar in the hotel : ) and can also give some useful advices on how to get a better trip in Stokholm. The kitchen is very well equipped (very glad to be the first user of a brand new microwave oven), and the bathroom is large than I thought. Private parking place is safe and convenient.

    Bus stop 5 minutes walking. Grocery shops about 15 minutes (or by bus). Otherwise, the house is to be found in the suburb of Stockholm, but you get to the city center in 25 minutes by bus+metro, so it is very convenient. The flat is comfortable for parents + 2 adult daughters as well. IKEA style furniture and kitchen: frigo could be a bit larger. Wash machine too (but we did not use it).

    In terms of value for money of places you stay near the Stockholm Archipelago you won't find anything better. But of course you have to keep in mind this Hotel was designed for athletes and not tourists. Rooms & beds are of standard quality and if you have the food they are buffets designed for large groups of sports teams.

    We had to travel to Stockholm for a emergency case, also we had a infant with us and had no time to change the dirty hotel… Very very bad experience of staying at very dirty place…:( Cleanness is the most important element at the place/hotel to stay which Ariston hotel got zero from 10 in our opinion.
