Nice restaurants and cafés - the Green Café at the station also has a local arts exhibition. Easy to reach from Stockholm and to discover the area by public transport, train or bus. It is humble, atmospheric, the food is fantastic, the staff is kind (as almost expected, given the clerical surroundings, but still surprising). The bed sheets were so soft and nice, and the room had SO much personality.
