The location is simply beautiful. We enjoyed every moment of the summer late sunset over the lake. The cabins look to be organized in an old farm, very rustic, everything very old style, but that made the stay unique, pleasant and my children were very enthusiastic. The bed was one of the most comfortable I slept in. The breakfast was basic but good.

Great for our little kids - a real 'ghost house'! Who had already been told about the monster who swims about in the lake! The lake is visible from the house, and we were lucky to have a red sunrise. Easy to find, and there's an ICA shop in Svenstavik just down the road. The renovators of this old house have done a good job.

Very convenient location for me. Stayed at the cabins in three different occasions in the same week, arrived after the reception was closed. Very smooth check-in process, the key was easy to find and the cabin was perfect, clean, quiet environment and it had everything I needed for cooking.

An excellent place with tons of nature. Yes, it’s not a five star hotel, but for those looking for a place to stay with heaps of history and charm this is just the best. The place was supposed to be closed for renovation when I was there, but the host made sure I had an excellent stay despite issues with plumbing in one of the upstairs bathrooms.
