Boasting a terrace, Art Hotel Tartini is set in the heart of Piran. The hotel was completely renovated in 2018 with finishing touches provided by one of the most famous Slovenian artists.

Hotel Piran is a superb boutique hotel in an excellent location at the waters edge in historic Piran.
The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hotel upgraded our room to one with a fabulous sea view, which was much appreciated. The room was spacious, clean with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options.
We highly recommend staying at Hotel Piran.
Featuring a private beach, Barbara Piran Beach Hotel is located in the most beautiful, greenest and quietest part of the Slovenian coast, directly on the seaside.

Cute little apartment in the centre of the old town. If you are driving there you will need to take the location of the parking lot into consideration as it is a fair distance from the apartment. Otherwise it was lovely.

The host is very nice and offered us all we need. The location is great and has easy access to beach and old town. The balcony has the sea view. We had a wonderful breakfast in the balcony. If we travel there again, we will still stay there.

The must-have restaurant in Piran is Fritolin Pri Cantini, at the May 1 trg. The best fresh fishes. Get a good beer or wine next to it, at Cantina Klet. Beware, both of the spots are cash-only!
If you are planning to come by car, you should be warned, that cars are not allowed in Piran, so you have to park yours at Fornace, at the beginning of Piran for an expensive fee.
Take a walk upstairs to the clock tower, it's worth the sweating! Also the Walls of Piran is a good walk as well. Afternoon coffe is at Caffe Teater, where always unexpected happens and the music is always really good!

Piran is a lovely place to visit, lots of interesting walks and cycle ways. The food is amazing if you enjoy fish, always fresh and lots of choice.
Other coastal towns are in easy reach and the local transport is very good.
Swimming in Fiesta (which is a 10 minute walk from Piran) is amazing with water sports hire and Scuba diving on offer.

The small city with special atmosphere, architecture and pulsation. Maybe not accurate for mainstream travalers who are just looking for their comfort-zone. You need to know where are you arriving. If you know it, it is not problem to fall in love with Piran.

I love it. It’s really beautiful and I didn’t expect that. I had my own love story there and I’ll always remember piran for being such a protagonist of this trip. The sunset and food was amazing. I can’t wait to come back

We fell in love with the quaint seaside town of Piran.
We fell in love with the quaint seaside town of Piran. The combination of sea and mountains contribute to the beauty of this calm Slovenian coastal town. Long walks on the promenade enjoying sensational sunsets, we walked up to the top of the old city walls and enjoyed amazing views of Piran. Slovenian wine is definitely a must try and a visit to a wine farm highly recommended. The wine bar at Hotel Piran was one of our favourite stops and the sommelier was a delight. Traffic around the Old Town can be quite manic, but the public transport (busses) were always on time and very safe/comfortable. We will see you soon again Piran.

A nice place near the water.
A nice place near the water. There are a lot of restaurants and cafes near the water and very beautiful sunsets to see. You can book a trip with a boat, see the aquarium or diving museum, there are also reamins of the old wall and the church which is currently being renovated. You can see it all in a day or two.

After booking we were a little reserved about stopping in Piran, but after arriving at the Piran Hotel, and treated like royalty it became evident that everything was going to greatly exceed our expectations. We had a marvellous stay, and the restaurants in the area were a great value with fantastic food. Also has one of the finest breakfasts that we came across on our travels.
Lovely Mariana from reception who checked us in and out in the morning - she was very welcoming and helpful. The location was also great.
We hope to return to Piran one day and, if we do, we will definitely stay at Art Hotel Tartini.
Great location 1100m from town centre, close to parking garage Fornače,bus to Piran in front of the app. (cost 1 euro, kids free)...romantic view, great restaurant Polpo and beach nearby.
Problem is not with the property itself. There is no car parking in Piran and it is very uncomfortable travelling by car to Piran. If I new that, I would go to Izola instead
