Everything wa exceptional!
The owner speaks absolutely good English, really friendly. And they also greeted us with a drink! We tried some liqueur, super traditional and Slovenian. Quite appropriate for the autumn days.
The room was clean and warm, the bed was comfortable. The TV stopped working all of a sudden in the middle of our staying but the owner gave us a small discount because of that. Now isn't it nice?
The territory of the hotel is extremely well maintained, full of greenery and has a lovely cuddly cat wandering around.
The breakfast was fresh, huge (we were full until like 5pm) and served the second you sit down.
We were super happy and highly recommend this place. Every minute is worth it!

We were only here for the weekend and enjoyed our time to the fullest. The weather was really cold, but that didn't bother us. We visited the Postojna Cave and then the Vivarium. The next day we visited the Expo Jama Kras and Predjama Castle. As a recommendation, I would suggest visiting Expo Jama Kras first and then Postojna Cave. The impression of the cave with a bit more knowledge and background would be better! Predjama Castle is something very special and unique that you absolutely have to see! We visited it in really cold winter weather and I think it gave us that real, cold, stone castle look and we could imagine what it was like back then. On the other hand, I think it's beautiful in summer too, and we already have it on our bucket list for a second visit in spring/summer. Just to see the other side and get this impression too! The cave below can only be visited in the summer months, which is one of the reasons why as well.

The town itself isn't terribly interesting, but the area offers some of the most epic attractions I've ever visited - namely the Postojna Caves, Predjama Castle and the Skocjan Caves. It's like stepping into a fairytale. They blew my mind. The local museum is also worth visiting and gives you a bit of context to these locations.

We loved the area, away from the crowd.
We loved the area, away from the crowd. It was quiet and relaxing, just what we needed. We stayed in one of many huts which had all you need for the stay. The camp has playgrounds and places like swimming pool where you can relax too. We didn't get to use the swimming pool as it was open only hours when we were out and about ,away from the camp.
Kitchen could do with some extra utensils bits, like bigger cups, kettle, knives, wooden spoons.
The restaurant is placed at the top of one of the larger cave with a beautiful view and they have a very good selection of food.
It is a short walk from the camp to Postojna caves through the woods 3km, (by shortcut, not on the road).Definitely a nice place for outdoor lovers, biking or hiking.
It would be nice if there was a camp fire pit, we didn't ask to be honest, so maybe we have not seen it. To sum up - we like the place a lot and we would come back.

The cave is an unmissable experience, but the town itself is also very atmospheric for a short walk.
Main squere and the church is very nice.
We tried Mal'ca Kebab restaurant and Pizzeria Cuk. Both were very good with solid prices.

What a secret gem!
What a secret gem! We stumbled upon Postojna by accident and we are so glad we did. Slovenia is beautiful and the people here are wonderful. The food is amazing and the cave tour was by far one of the best excursions I have ever done.

From Centre you can walk to the spectacular caves.
From Centre you can walk to the spectacular caves. There are also many walks around the countryside (riverside walks and woodland walks.) There are supermarkets to stock up on essentials....Tuc supermarket has a good bakery too.
The cafe in the central square is very pleasant and has a good selection of ice cream.
From the caves you need to hire or share a taxi to the equally spectacular castle. (In the summer there maybe a shuttle bus).

The location was good-20-25 minutes away by Postojna cave. The room was big enough, comfortable and clean. There was the private parking place - infromt of the building was for free and behind it was paid! There was enough place to park in front. The food was continental and delicious. Thank you for the hospitality and the kindness! We recommend it 💯!
Good place for trips around like Postojna, Predjamski Grad, Škocjan cave or Rakov Škocjan. The farm has many places for children as playground and animals. Good, traditional and healthy food for breakfast and dinner.
Perfect place near the Postojna cave, hostels equipment for youth, super kitchens, sanitaries, pinpong table, kind personal. Possibility to order breakfast (5€/person).
