We liked pretty much everything. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. The apartment is furnished with a well-equipped kitchen, so one can cook something quickly. As the place is away from main roads, it is very quiet. I can highly recommend it.

Hotel SAMARIN Črnomelj is a recently renovated guest house in Črnomelj where guests can make the most of its terrace and bar.

Great little roadside stop, and exceeded what I expected for sure. Restaurant is very tasty. Owners friendly. I was only there for the night, and passing through, so don't know much about the area, but it's pretty. Check out the robot waiter!

    Semič is a beautiful little town in Bele Krajina, south east Slovenia. It’s situated on a steep hillside with the hotel and town centre about half way down the hill. The hillsides are full of vines as this is an excellent wine (predominantly red) growing region. It’s a beautifully kept tidy town with several bars, restaurants and shops. The locals are very friendly and welcoming, and are, fortunately for me, largely English speaking. The region gets lovely warm and sometimes very hot summers, and the Kolpa river is great for swimming and gets quite warm in high summer. It’s also a cyclist’s paradise as it’s full of well maintained quiet roads with lots of hills if you like a challenge. As a country full of forests, mountains and lakes, there is nothing to dislike about Slovenia, it literally has something for everyone.
