Time stops with that view! We’ve never felt more at peace and relaxed. Hosts are welcoming and the food is great, they male it work very well considering the language barrier

No Wi-Fi. No credit card payment. No shops in walking distance and no help from the resort on how to get there.
Meals can be purchased only in the resort restaurant but lunch only if you join a tour or if there's staff in the kitchen. Breakfast is included but you just get toast, butter, jam, juice and fruits.
1 meal costs 400 Baht which is overpriced for what you get (rice, eggs, vegetables, chicken pieces in broth). But it's not basic food. It's homemade French cuisine. You pay it and you will not get to chose what to eat. Allergies are respected but dislike of pork is not. The owner decides what's for lunch or dinner. I said when booking I don't eat pork but what I got offered was pork (so I only ate eggs, rice and vegetables). If you have a scooter you get to buy a delicious Pad Thai noodle dish for 50 Baht not far from here.
The resort is run by a French couple and 99 % of the guests are French. For some reason. His wife was abroad so he run the resort alone and currently no yoga or inner journey could be booked.
No check in before 14:00. I arrived at noon and there was literally nobody to talk to except a only Thai speaking house keeper.
The owner arrived at 14:00 and greeted my by the pool. However, he only explained me the rules and asked me if I want to book dinner or any tours. No other information on how stuff works. I signalized I have more questions and I had to stop him 3 times from walking away. I felt bit guilty but it's normal to have questions on arrival.
The next day, I approached him to covert my lunch booking into dinner instead. But he didn't even turn around to talk to me so I had a conversation with his back. He corrected my wording in a rude way that it doesn't mean converting if I don't have lunch. He explained I am just not having lunch.
After that, he checked in a new French arrival in a very friendly way and gave them a detailed tour and explained everything to them.

I would have liked more options for the Thai breakfast, as I dislike the "American" breakfast.
I also was a bit miffed that we had to pay for a child's breakfast.

Wonderfull Place to stay at. The staff is very nice and took very good care of us. The room and living area were really comfortable.
I would absolutely recommend staying at Lisu Lodge.

A fantastic retreat by the river, about an hour from Chiang Mai. Various bungalows with garden or river views—we chose one by the river with a shared pool, offering a peaceful stay. The large main pool by the restaurant has never been crowded either. Breakfast is well-arranged with local, Asian, and Western options, and the restaurant is great for all meals. Best of all, it’s close to elephant camps for walking, bathing, and riding—highly recommended

Johnny and his staff were super accommodating throughout my whole trip. The grounds of the resort are so well cared for and it is rare to see a resort with a variety of sporting facilities. It was just the right place as I travelled to Mae Teng for a race in the national park.
Thank you!

Last minute deal was great. Comfortable and enough soft bed. In the shower which is in the room (private) hot water was all the time and the pressure didn't change. Clean and overall nice place to stay if you are with a car or something.

This area still has Elephant rides and Elephants in small fenced areas poorly treated. We visited an Elephant sanctuary where most of the animals were rescued from local tourist attractions who failed to be able to take care of their animals. It is critical as a traveler that you "Do NOT" help establishments that offer rides to keep in business, instead support the facilities that offer being around Elephants and share in a genuine love for their well being.
