This is a very modern and clean hotel tucked down a side street but very close to all the bars and restaurants. The rooms are very nicely designed and we had a sea view, a balcony and a complementary breakfast. There was some minor distance sound of music from one of the bars but this is typical for Phi Phi and it didn't disturb our sleep at all.
Located on the famous Phi Phi Island, PP Charlie Beach Resort features its own outdoor pool that overlooks the sea. Free WiFi is available in the public areas.

I just dont see the attraction of Phi Phi when there are so many other islands that are less busy, less touristy and noisy. If you are wanting a chilled island experience this is not it. The chaos and noise when you arrive at the pier and the big McDonald's and Burger King signs on arrival is just heartbreaking. Majority of the accomodation on the main strip isn't great quality - very much struggled to find anything decent.
I would recommend staying at Long beach or further away around the other side of the island.
The number of day trips that arrive in noisy speedboats and just take over is mad. 100s of tourists just pouring onto the beach.
If you are a backpacker then may be its fine but if you are coming to Thailand for a restful island experience this is not it. Choose Koh Muk, Koh Yao Yai as were my favourites and more chilled and authentic and still easy to get to on a boat.

It's just chaotic and so noisy and busy.
It's just chaotic and so noisy and busy. There are soooo many other wonderful islands, I dont understand why everyone goes here. I would only recommend staying at hotels buy Long beach or further around the cape - far far away from Tonsai Pier - so noisy and hectic. Having a McDonald's and a Burger King right by the pier too is just so shameful. So many speedboats moored up with so many tourists pouring out of them. Go to Koh Mook, Koh Lanta or even Kai Yao Yai for more authentic islands and peace and quiet.

Phi Phi Don has plenty of things to do day and night.
Phi Phi Don has plenty of things to do day and night. Lots of bars and restaurants. You have quiet area's as well as the much louder parts.
Food and drinks where very good and a great place to meet other people.
From Phi Phi you can travel to some of the best sight seeing area's.
Dont just think it's just for party people, It has much more to offer if you just look for it,

The island is pretty, and the beach is high quality, but the place is disturbed by huge consumerism and hoards of young Western kids, making it an Ibiza in Asia. Noisy, crowded, and with a loss of Thai identity, it's not what Thailand has best…

Beautiful island with exceptional views.
Beautiful island with exceptional views. Local people were wonderful, the town is rather chaotic but in a fun way! To watch the locals and how they live was always welcomed by them. Super friendly and always wanting to please. Didn’t like the constant partying! But we are perhaps middle aged for the students main residents in phi phi…it was fun to see them and their hangovers!

Accommodation on Koh Phi Phi is a brand-new hotel boasting exceptional interiors and cleanliness. The room offers spaciousness, a clean bathroom, and comfort. Situated in the heart of the island, it provides easy access to shops, beaches, and the open-air evening market. Additionally, you receive a water bottle every day. With comfortable lodging, an excellent location, and friendly amenities, it serves as an ideal base for exploring Koh Phi Phi.
The view from our room was amazing, overlooking the beach. The room was beautiful and comfortable. This hotel really is set in paradise with every direction being postcard perfect. The hotel arranged collection when we arrived by Ferry which was nice and took the pressure off our family to sort. The centre is a 15/20 minute walk which is lovely but hot so take water. We did a 4 hour boat trip to the islands which is was just amazing, a must do.
The hotel enjoys an ideal location, just two minutes from the pier and another beach. The pool is a desirable length for laps, and a secondary pool at the far end offers additional seating. The beach bars and nightlife of Phi Phi Don island and the fire shows etc were fantastic. We managed to do our long-tailed boat trip early in the morning to Maya Bay which was fantastic, we used the little kiosk at the end of the hotel right by the beach.
someone picks you up directly from the pier and brings you to the hotel, spacious (really big) and well decorated room, very nice pool and we took an excursion to see the islands nearby with the hotel and it was great
P.P. Casita is the best hotel in phi phi island. The hotel is in a silence area and there is no much noise there. If you go to phi phi you understand what am i mean.
