Goreme is very much a tourist town where everything is geared towards your food and entertainment options. Some of the food are great and some overpriced and overrated. So look out for the gems and avoid the duds. Goreme is a beautiful town and people are lovely. There is no shortage of good eating places. I went during the snowfall so I missed the hot air balloons. The terrace itself is really pretty, coloured carpets- so you can make beautiful photos and it’s high so you can see everything. Room is like i imagined in cave and very cozy and clean.
