The best thermal pool hotel in Karahayit, but keep in mind the bar is rather low. Still, it’s indoor facilities were lovely and the outdoor pool, while not glamorous, was relaxing.

Pamukkale has two main sights to see in the town. The travertine pools and the Hierapolis city ruins. Both are impressive and accessed through a single ticket. There are also two other places worth a visit nearby, the ruin of Laodicea and the Kaklik Cave. The town is small but friendly and the sights are worth a visit. I also did a sunrise balloon ride over the travertines and that was a highlight.

Pamukkale is spectacular geological spot for the travetine pools. This is really amazing to watch. The pools is spoiled by tourist that have to walk barefoot in the pools and crowd it so it makes the experience really bad. Honestly there is no need for that and it feels like these crowds of tourist are compelled to do the instagram pose as the mandatory, which is just annoying.
The Roman city is actually what would be visiting and the real attraction instead of the pools.

Pamukkale is a must for its unique beauty in its natural deposits of the calcite Travertines, but also for its ancient Greek ruins in the adjacent site of Hieropolis, which includes a fifteen-thousand seat theatre with stage and skene (or backdrop) both intact, as if the ancient actors were about to take the stage. Below the theatre, the white mineral deposits of the Travertines stretch down the hill like an avalanche of stone, while the valley below the town extends for miles toward a distant mountain range, barely visible in the mist.

It was very clean, what else we could wish for one night. At the end if September the pool was working Coffee, tee in lobby for free. Near to one of the entrance (but it's better to use other one if you want to get up early and see travertines before the buses).
Cafes are not far away from the hotel by foot, but the quality of food in this region is the worst in Turkey.
Hotel was welcoming and super clean. We kindly got an upgrade from a triple room to a quadruple family suite which was just perfect. Even though we didn't have time to use the pool it looked clean and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was the most plentiful we have had in Turkey and dinner at the restaurant was really nice.
We enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast was really good each morning. It was nice sitting out near the pool for breakfast. We also enjoyed having access to a beautiful, big pool during our stay as it was very hot. The staff were also some of the loveliest people we have met in Turkey.
This hotel exceeded our expectations. It is much bigger and luxurious hotel than seen in the pictures. The room was big and cosy. Breakfast had wide variety. The location is very good for visiting Pamukkale thermal pools.
