Great stay with kind hosts and local tea experience! Alishan Tea Homestay is located right by the main road, which makes it easy to find, though it’s not super quiet. The room was clean and comfy, with thoughtful touches like snacks and tea. The host was very friendly and even offered a tea tasting—such a nice local experience! Would recommend for travelers wanting a warm and welcoming stay near Alishan.

I loved the warm hospitality of the owner, and the fact that we were staying right above their tea house made the experience even more special. The owner took us to his tea farm, where he shared his knowledge about harvesting, different types of tea leaves, and his journey to becoming a business owner alongside his wife. It truly enriched the entire experience, and I definitely learned a lot more about tea.

The owner of the guest house was very kind to drive me to the nearest town; Shizhuo to take a bus there to head to Alishan or Fenqihu. They also picked up me from the same place in Shizhuo to head back to the guest house. On a good day, you can see the sunrise from the common area on lvl 6.
