1. The staff was extremely helpful despite language barrier. Since I spoke only English, she switched to English to accommodate me. Couldn’t really understand her English but made do. My children speaks mandarin but we came in different taxis so I have to wait for them to arrive 10 minutes later.

Location is good, we had a driver so no issues.
Breakfast is local Taiwanese porridge, some bread peanut butter and jam.
I would suggest the hotel to consider to have or allow tourist to request for some fried eggs to go with bread, to cater to those who don't take porridge.
Overall quite happy.
Basically, Taiwan hotels are all very basic and practical, no wastage. No fancy interior nor exterior. That is what i observed when i travel from Kaohsiung, Taichung and Chiayi.

Great location, just a short walk from the train station, which made getting around super convenient. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the check-in process was smooth. The breakfast was excellent – plenty of variety and really tasty, a great way to start the day. We also noticed a lot of locals staying at the hotel due to the long holiday, which made the atmosphere feel lively and welcoming. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay – would definitely recommend!
