It was a great experience around the sugar factory. The shops around the lake are worth visiting with lots of local products and handmade souvenirs!
It is a unique experience to sleep in one of the little houses!
Breakfast was great with international and local food.
The little bathtub was adorable!

I don’t leave reviews often but this is the most beautiful 民宿 （homestay) that I’ve stayed in. The whole house is wonderfully designed and decorated, not to mention extremely clean. Location-wise, it is in a quieter part of town but it’s still walking distance to the eateries and convenience store. The breakfast was the most delicious healthy breakfast I’ve ever had, prepared by the hostess (she said she is the owner’s sister). She mentioned that because we (as travellers) are mostly eating out, we would not be getting much vegetables in our diet hence she thoughtfully prepared the largely plant based breakfast. They did ask us the day before whether we are ok with salad-based breakfast, but I really didnt expect this! Love it!
