I have no word to describe the kindness of Hassan to welcome in his garden. Everything is curated and comfortable. Restaurant is delicious and the atmosphere in the garden under the stars is simply amazing. This place is a must if in Mafia.
The room is also comfortable, mosquitoes free and clean. Hassan also organize and suggest great tours with selected guides. You can completely rely on him and his staff

The staff was amazing, very hospitable and took care of everything.
Breakfast and dinner was great, they have a really great chef and attentive personnel.
They also rented us bikes for free, such that we could drive to the dive shop (~10 minutes by bike).

Lovely clean hotel in excellent location. the AC is key! It is hot here. Pool was lovely, food was good. Staff pleasant and front desk very helpful. Rooms were clean.

I just came back from a week in Kita Kiblu and I wish I could have stayed longer! Everyone at Kita Kiblu is so kind, welcoming and fun; when my travel plans changed last minute I was welcomed back as a friend and I very much hope to visit again soon. As a solo traveller, it was very easy to socialize with guests due to the friendly vibes, lovely bar with views of the sunset and the communal dining. The food at lunch and dinner was excellent and incredibly good value - we had a three course dinner including fresh fish every day and vegetarian guests are well catered-for. My room was very cute and the outdoor shower is lovely. The whale shark encounters were very well-run and Luka, the whale shark interns and the boat crew ensured we had a good experience. The manager Betty works so hard to look after everyone and creates a very special atmosphere on Mafia Island. Eva and the reception staff were super friendly and really helpful! Asante sana na tutuonane tena 🙏

Some nice different options for various tours in the marine park. Not really a beach there, and the little sand available is occupied by working fisherman; either side is mangrove. There is a sandbar further out you can visit. Better to stay outside to avoid the marine fees and only pay them when you need to enter it as nicer beaches elsewhere.
