I appreciated the option for eggs w/o cheese. The apples looked great! The toaster worked well.

Check-in was super fast, and both the people at the front counter were genuinely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the perfect size for the two of us. We were at the end of the hall on the first floor, and we heard hardly any noise from the hall or above us. The breakfast was decent each morning. It was too cold for the pool; however, we did enjoy a few minutes in the hot tub. We were here for the nearby Sherwood Forest Faire, and it was easy to get there from this location. My cousins live nearby, so I'm looking at this location to stay at when I bring my mother down to visit!

Comfortable rooms and both firm and soft pillows were great. The hot tub was nice but I avoided the pool which was cold and dirty.

We stayed here for the Formula 1 races in Austin this year and could not be more thrilled about our stay, as well as the house. It is a comfortable place to stay and the grounds are amazing. Had a fire out back and grilled steaks & chicken by the river!!! Andy is a great host and is super responsive to our messages and silly questions! Will definitely reserve the place again for next year!!!

Liked the vacation home. Could use some fixing and maybe a water filtration system on the well to take the sulfur smell out of the water. Was off the beaten path.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming house. It provided a peaceful getaway with plenty of enjoyable activities, including disc golf and corn hole. The selection of tea and coffee was excellent, and the herb garden added a nice touch. We also enjoyed relaxing in the cowboy pool. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, making it easy to unwind. Overall, it was a great place for family time and relaxation. We look forward to returning in the future.
We came there so I could participate in a Triathlon near by.

I needed a comfortable room for the night before to sleep well and needed a late check out so I could come back and shower then pack the car to leave. I had to leave the hotel at 4:30am to make the event on time, so having a late check out at noon instead of 11am was perfect. I made it back in time to shower, change, pack the car, and get down the road by 12! Thank you Comfort Inn! I even grab a complimentary coffee as I was headed out the door!

Bastrop is beautiful city.
Bastrop is beautiful city. The Colorado River is flowing, birds and deer everywhere. The state park offers hiking option from easy to challenging. The restaurants ( esp The neighbor) served good food and the people are very nice. We also liked the good ol’ barber shop called the Chubby’s. The historic houses are something to check out as well.

Great little city made better by the tourist drawdown.
Great little city made better by the tourist drawdown. Most hotels/motels are south of Highway 71, which is under major sonstruction, which is hard for a stranger to get back and forth. Food shortages tend to limit menus and hours of operation downtown. Has a wonderful Bucky's which heals most wounds! Nice state park recovering well after the big fire of 2011.

Fun place, even during the pandemic!
Fun place, even during the pandemic! We fished both north & south lake and had a blast, saw several folks rafting down the river, ate at a few great establishments; a place we thought was THE Roadhouse, ended up being a pretty good burger place! We enjoyed watching wildlife (including many deer!). Downtown has nostalgic stores and a river walk, a few craft beer places - one which we purchased a delicious raspberry growler at. The wildly rolling hills and numerous waterways were unexpected treats. We stayed 3 days/4 nights, was a perfect stay and are planning on going again soon.

Our sixteenth hotel on our tour of America and after our last superb hotel we were anxious. No need to be as from our welcome to getting in to our room all went very nicely. Room was a good size, clean and plenty of pillows! Breakfast was very good considering the price but coffee could do with improving. Despite advising the building is scheduled for a refurb later this year housekeeping have kept it fresh and very usable, well done. The bonus was a Walmart store is virtually its next door neighbour.
It was nice to not have to find a place to ear breakfast before continuing our trip. And the hotel was right on our route so we didn't have to make any detours.
