The town of Chester was really cute. The room was very clean. The coffee bar in the kitchen was well stocked and and there was a nice room to play games or do puzzles.

The whole property was so lovely, it was like something out of a movie! The beds are comfortable and a lovely duvet and pillows, the shower was hot and powerful
Breakfast was very good , with various options and cooked just how you ask
The Eatery is often busy with locals and is a great place to have an evening meal, local well made food, from one of the best salads I have ever had, to delicious chicken tenders and a BLT that my daughter had both nights as she loved it so much, my regret was I didn’t try the pot pie as it looked amazing.
There is a little room to play chess and games and a porch to sit on and take in the beautiful building
Everyone was so friendly and helpful and made us feel so welcome, we’re already planning to return. It’s an easy place to have as a base to explore Vermont, and the Chester historic district is worth checking out too.

Nice hotel to stay. The man at reception was EXTREMELY nice and helpful. I was limping and told him my foot hurt and he went out of his way to try to help me. Also, I thought I lost my razor here or at one of the other hotels I stayed at and wrote to each of them. This was the only hotel to respond! And the same day!
