Biloxi offers a nice combination of beautiful beaches with excellent restaurants and a good selection of good to great golf courses. Staff at most all restaurants are very nice and accomodating. The beach is not covered with buildings making it very nice.
The beach is not covered with buildings making it very nice. The water is murky because this is where the Mississippi river mets the Gulf . I like that it still has a smaller town feel. We found some great thrift stores and had the buffet at the Island Casino. The buffet was very good and our waitress was very attentive. There were many things to do during the Summer season. Stopped in midday and left next morning, simply because I'm not been there and was curious. We drove thru many neighborhoods, did not stop at any of the many casinos, had lunch at a pier and dinner at upscale restaurant. Its tired ant trapped a bit by fast traffic on us 99.We will not return . There is a nice visitors center. We never saw a shopping area or even a Wal Mart. Beautiful beach properties with lots of charm! Tons of hidden gem restaurants and great seafood choices! Casinos are great and lots of options for family activities as well.
