Everything. This place was so perfect and very safe. It was so beautifully decorated and generous in its offerings. The room was so comfortable with everything you needed. They were very responsive to any needs. The location was walkable to everything. This place made me want to return to Blowing Rock just to stay there.

Blowing Rock is such a neat little town. The perfect size to stroll around and check out all the local pottery and wonderful restaurants. We ate at Stories on Main and the Speckled Trout. Both were excellent. The pottery shops had such great sales people who had all the information about the local potters. We enjoyed Winterfest festivities as well. The ice carvings, the polar plunge and the Chetola, the food and drinks at the restaurants. It was a fabulous weekend.

Amazing.
Amazing. The snow and they still had the Christmas decorations up. Everyone in the town was friendly and there is so much to do if you have kids. It’s also a great location to stay if you plan on making it to the slopes.

Our favorite place to come.
Our favorite place to come. Great hiking, great food, great places to shop. Such a beautiful place. My only negative comment is that it has gotten much more crowded, and parking is difficult. Blowing Rock Methodist is a wonderful place to worship.

Lovely little town with local shops, inns and beautiful parks. Ate at Town Tavern and Mellow Mushroom and both were very good. Blue Deer was wonderful for homemade cookie ice cream sandwiches. Lovely parks in the middle of town within walking distance. Equestrian facility is beautiful. One of my favorite places!

Beautiful, quiet mountain town.
Beautiful, quiet mountain town. It's a great place to get away and relax and enjoy some beautiful scenery. The quaint downtown is just minutes down the road and has lots of shops and restaurants. Grandfather Mountain is about 30 minutes away and is a must see if you have time.

We loved our 2-night stay at Swiss Mountain Village. We've been traveling across America for two months, mostly staying in hotels or RV parks, and this cabin/lodge made such a nice change. The two bedroom lodge had separate bedrooms and the kitchen was really well equipped. Sitting by the gas fire was very cozy. Fishing for trout in the pond was a bonus!
We were in unit 42, one of the top units, so sound from neighbours wasn't a problem.
We love the history of this beautiful old Inn. The bed was very comfortable. Staff were friendly and accommodating. It is a short drive into the village of Blowing Rock. Great get-away.
The location was perfect. About halfway between Boone and Blowing Rock. It was a spacious, yet cozy apartment. The view off the back porch is stunning.
