This is an a motor-in motel in historic downtown Boulder, NV. It has very recently been renovated and rebuilt. The room was impeccably clean. It was somewhat larger than expected, but austere. The bathroom was very clean. The bathtub/shower was good.

Boulder City is an historic community.
Boulder City is an historic community. Planned and built by the Federal Government in the 1930's to house the workers who constructed Hoover Dam. The Boulder Dam Hotel sits in the heart of the old downtown, a walkable area of incredible charm and interest.

Beautiful charming locale.
Beautiful charming locale. Plenty of parking with fine art and bronze statues placed throughout. Coffee shop in town a must go to. Unfortunately only an overmight stop along our trip. We will definitely be back to explore more.

Boulder City is very clean and well laid out.
Boulder City is very clean and well laid out. Easily walkable. We felt quite safe there. The people are friendly. Choice of restaurants to suit all budgets and tastes. Two night stay would be ideal or perhaps 3 nights if you wanted to see further afield.

I had breakfast in the World Famous Coffee Cup, it had a vibrant diner feel, if you arrive at a busy time as it's first come first served, and it's popular, I was there at 9.30am Sunday and got a seat at the bar, don't worry there were other great looking places to choose from in the same location too.
I also visited the Boulder Dam Hotel & Museum while in the town which tells the story of the building of the Hoover Dam (the lives of the workers and their families).
Lake Mead is stunning and can be seen from the road to Hoover Dam, I stopped by the Alan Bible Visitors Centre which was great for more Dam history & gifts and is also the start of the Hoover Dam Walking Trail which is a few miles long but worth it for the views (pack water, snacks & sunscreen and don't do it in the Summer heat!)

A beautiful, quaint place less than 30 minutes from Las Vegas. So many lovely eateries - we love the Coffee Cup, Dillinger (serves the best chilli) and Boulder Dam Brewing Company - try the Watermelon Cider and chicken tenders! For a drink on a Friday night, you can't beat Beer Zombies. The antique and boutique stores are a lovely way to pass an afternoon, and the museum in the Boulder Dam Hotel is informative and fun.

Downtown Boulder City seemed inviting and cute.
Downtown Boulder City seemed inviting and cute. Unfortunately, we had such a busy rehearsal schedule that we did not have time to explore! We will go back, and plan some exploration time - but we will not stay at El Rancho Boulder Motel.

I will use this facility again when I am in NV, because the experience was par excellence A plus customer service.
I was pleased with the greeting I received when I entered the hotel and registered at the desk.
Everyone was kind and courteous and I had a very comfortable night.
A very good stay, no complaints. Room newly refurbished was very good with a comfortable bed. Breakfast good although the room was a littkr impersonal
Would recommend this value for money hotel for visits to Hoover Dam and very close to old town Boulder City
Rooms are fully renovated, shower is great, (not over a bath) bed is comfortable. We wanted to get an earlier start to visit the Grand Canyon. This was a great jump-off point. Boulder City is lovely! We walked all around the historical quarter.
Great breakfast. Very nice museum located within the hotel. Central location. Friendly staff. Free parking. The Cornish Pasty Co is opposite the hotel, well worth a visit. Short trip to Hoover Dam and / or Las Vegas
