Centrally located in Boulder, Colorado, this historic hotel features Victorian décor with modern amenities and is 5 minutes’ walk from Pearl Street Mall.

We were pleasantly surprised by how charming the hotel was and the friendly staff. Our room was quiet with comfortable beds and very clean. Bathroom was spacious and the shower was amazing. We also enjoyed breakfast and dinner at the Spruce restaurant, food was delicious and we were especially delighted to have Brooklynn as our waitress - she was extremely efficient and a pleasure. The Comedy show was a treat, very reasonably priced and a lot of fun. Location overall was perfect. I highly recommend the Boulderado.

Featuring a bar, tennis court and views of city, Colorado Chautauqua Cottages is located in Boulder, 2.7 miles from University of Colorado at Boulder.

Celebrated our anniversary with friends. The staff provided a celebratory basket on check in and then we drove the couple blocks to our assigned cottage, a wonderful two bedroom with views of the Flatiron mountains and right on the hiking path. The whole place area is historic, yet the cottage was updated and comfortable inside. Highlights: the Liberty Puzzle Factory Tour, dinner at Bramble and Hare, a hike into the Flatirons, 30 minute walks to Pearl Street through cool neighborhoods, the friendly and helpful Ranger, and hours of putting together the fabulous Liberty puzzles at the kitchen table with our friends. Definitely want to come back.

Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Boulder, Basecamp Hotel, is walking distance from the University of Colorado at Boulder and Naropa University.

No housekeeping service. Charged for happy hour. Said they honored discount but did not. Blamed it on third party booking. Room situated smack and in front of portable toilet on loud construction site. Bare minimum amenities - no phone connection to front desk, no desk or chairs, not even a tiny bottle of crappy lotion. Dirty carpets in room and hallways (something to do with no housekeeping, perhaps?) Go elsewhere

Boulder is so beautiful, near the rocky mountains. Definitely good for biking and hiking, just have to rent or bring your own bike. Easy access to restaurants via 28th street and buses are very good, very cheap to. Shopping limited but nevertheless a very food place to visit.

This was a variation on a staycation. I wanted to be able to get to Denver without staying in Denver. Basic room with everything I needed - tv, refrigerator, fluffy towels, comfy pillows. Quiet and convenient.

The best part of our Boulder visit was Eldorado Canyon State Park and its Fowler Trail was a wonderful, shady, pretty easy hike that I'll always remember. Lots of rock climbers in the park. It is definitely worth a stop between Denver & Rocky Mountain National Park. The trails at Flat Irons are not very easy, but we enjoyed our walk partway on a trail. We visited Fiske Planetarium on campus at U of C Boulder. Parking was easy on a Sunday. Mini golf at Gateway Park Fun Center was a lot of fun - 2 courses with lots of shady trees. Disappointed we ran out of time to visit Dushanbe Tea House. Probably wouldn't visit Pearl Street Mall again. It just wasn't our vibe. Beware the yellow traffic lights in Boulder - they are super short & you might find yourself running a red light :(

We came to tour the CU Boulder campus, but also enjoyed walking around downtown. Pearl Street has a ton of dining options, and if you have $ to spend some great outdoor clothing stores. Had we had a longer visit we would definitely have gone hiking!

I lived there 50 years ago so went back to see my old haunts, the Flatirons, and to drive up Flagstaff Mountain and on to Boulder Falls and Nederland. My, how it's changed! I worked at the court house on Pearl Street and now it's a walking mall! I lived there just as the Book Store opened and Celestial Seasonings was new. I worked at Leanin' Tree Greeting Card Company when it was in an old house on Pearl Street. I was going to go see it in its newer digs, but the woman at Celestial Seasonings said they moved to Mede (sp?). Everything was crowded in town because there was a football game on Thursday. We went back to the mall in the evening and it was nice. I went for the memories.

Boulder was easy to get around in. Pleasant to walk around.

Boulder was easy to get around in. Pleasant to walk around. Plenty of things to do and see. Fair Winds Hot Air Balloons is highly recommended!! Pearl Street Mall is a nice feature. The Garage Sale Vintage store/restaurant is awesome. See Matt at Boulder Therapeutics for great body work. Morning Glory has a really good breakfast. The Laughing Goat has good coffee and quiche. Those Flatirons - beautiful!
