But it is definitely not the worst that we've ever stayed in. And for the price, it's good enough for us to sleep. It was messy, run down, garbage was overflowing out of a huge dumpster outside my window, the fitness room was locked and filled with matresses and over garbage. This little fitness area was the reason I chose this place over other places and they chose to use it for storage. The bed nakes a noise like hitting a metal drum when I sit on it or move. There are no other room available and I'm stuck. I feel like the property is representing itself falsely and Booking.Com doesn't do a good job varifying the state of the properties they put on their site. Lennys Indian head inn has great seafood for great prices. Be sure to take the 13 mile scenic trip on Rt 146 that begins in downtown Branford. A thimble island boat tour is a must Arturo’s restaurant is another great eatery. Small but mighty. Location, Walgreens and restaurants near by, good breakfast, health safety measures in place, clean rooms , clean facility, nice staff. My only issue was the hot water would not come up in my room. This really frustrated my wife since we were here for a wedding. She called the front desk and no one answered. She had to warm water in the microwave.
