Located in Cascade Locks, within 15 miles of Multnomah Falls and 31 miles of Mt.

Absolutely the cutest! Located perfectly too as you can walk into town easily. Place was spotless and perfect for my needs. I had a feeling it was going to be a great stay when Darlene called me to tell me my room was ready well before check in time as I was driving to Cascade Locks. Check in and check out was easy. Love the close parking too and the views are outstanding. Would definitely stay here again.

Highly recommend sulfuric/mineral bath house soak experience - just like we had in Europe! Don't need to stay at the hotel, might just get 1 hour pass, although afterwards feel so relaxed and sleepy, so might as well stay (hotel dated but comfortable).

Not much going on in Carson. Small rural town.

Not much going on in Carson. Small rural town. The restaurant we ate in there was marginal. Though the lunch at a deli was pretty good. The Hot Springs where we stayed are a couple of miles outside of town.

The brewery/restaurant (in town) we ate at for dinner was very good. My girlfriend and I both loved it and would eat there again for sure!. Backwoods brewing co./ restaurant.... The hotel needs to update their office! Looked a little out of place.

The setting was beautiful even if the weather didn't cooperate for much of the time. If you're willing to drive a short distance (30 minutes ir less) there are other interesting things to do in nearby towns. The spa services and mineral pool were excellent. Breakfast and lunch were available at the nearby golf course; food and service were both very good. Not many dinner options available in Carson during the week, but managed to find a good brewpub that served bar food & pretty good pizza.

I thought the price for the room was way too high! There are other places I have stayed at, that were much cheaper and had nicer rooms. If you like pizza and beer, Backwoods Brewing is not very far away. They have good beer and the pizza is good as well. I would not recommend this place to others, for the price they charge.

As they do state on their website: this is not a “glitz and glamor”-type spa... fortunately, we weren’t there for a spa experience. We were looking for a place for my family to stay while I ran 100 miles at a nearby park as a part of an annual event. —The goal was to have a swimming pool for my daughter. After we arrived, we were informed that the pool is indoor and children under 18 are not allowed to swim, so that wasn’t beneficial. Fortunately, we did get a room with a hot tub on the patio, so she could do a little “swimming”. She mostly just spent time in the nearby river. The front desk staff and the woman who cleaned our room (and let us into it when our key cards malfunctioned for the second time) were very, very nice. The room was more updated than I had expected and it was clean. However, there were some pretty major stains on the carpet that my husband (a germophobe) could not get past. I was grateful for the beautiful surroundings, air conditioning, and kind staff members, but definitely felt the price of the “resort” was a bit misleading.
