United StatesALL the staff and manager were awesome, friendly people. Very clean. Large rooms for a regular hotel. Overall, just a great experience. Good views facing North, too! Not sure about south facing lol. A nice Country Kitchen restaurant is right next to it as well. Highly recommend.

Chadron Inn was dated that was ok, towels were brought up after we were in the room and that was OK. We were settled in and we couldn't find the remote, I tried calling the front desk, no answer, I went down to the desk clerk and he gave me a new one. Long story short, none of the remotes worked, I asked for wifi, that didn't work and right then I said to him we have to have wifi and that we are checking out. The Chadron Holiday Inn Express is located in a perfect spot. Right off the hwy near a junction. We visited the Chadron Museum and the State park. It was a great experience for all ages. The museum is perfect for learning and teaching the history of America. There are guns and clothing from long ago and the museum staff is very helpful. Great collections there and well kept. The state park is beautiful and offers great amenities. Swimming, camping and fishing in addition to horseback riding and hiking trails. The bed I slept in was uncomfortable and we each rolled to the center. The AC was a central system without a control on the room. We would have liked the room cooler. There was no ice machine even though it had a sign that said ICE but no machine in the room. The sink and bath controls were very old and difficult to operate. Came here for the parks and was not disappointed. However the restaurants in the area are mediocre. Stocking up on food/supplies was limited (I’m guessing that because it was a small town, the grocery store didn’t fully stock shelves which makes sense.). It’s a college town and I guess because there is nothing to do, they light fireworks every night of the year. Makes for a rough resting attempt.
