I liked the location. Price was OK. I was in town because I am a disabled war veteran and had several appointments scheduled at the S.F. Veterans Hospital. I stayed in Marin County because I lived here for 45 years. I did ask Grant -- an excellent ambassador for your motel -- if he could inquire about a discount for disabled veterans.

You can’t walk on the uncarpeted floor without guests below thinking it is caused for complaint at 7 PM. The call from the front desk relaying that complaint was unprecedented.

The Gables Inn was very nice. The room was clean, spacious and had a wonderful patio with a SF Bay view. The Inn was quiet and the staff was accomodating.
