Deadwood – 50 hotels and places to stay

Cedar Wood Inn is a 5-star property located in Deadwood. There's a terrace and guests can use free WiFi and free private parking.

The owner was super nice and laid back. The motel is super cute. Basic amenities, but we had everything we needed. We liked the fact that it wasn't right in the hustle and bustle of the casinos, but it was close enough to walk. There is also a trolly that stops right next to the motel if you didn't want to walk.

Offering free WiFi, The Hotel by Gold Dust is located in historic Deadwood. All rooms are equipped with a flat-screen cable TV. Adams Museum is 459 feet from the hotel.

Walked into the room bathroom floor was dirty, so was the tv screen. There was no rack to put our suitcase on so we asked and was told some drunken broke it. But the guy said he would see if he could find another one that did not happen. When we went downstairs to go out he was sitting in his chair on his phone. Room was really some no room to even put a chair in there, had to sit on bed to put shoes on. I am older and have a difficult time doing that. Tub was deep, had a hard time stepping into it, no bars to hold on to.

The staff and location were wonderful. We were running a little late so I called ahead and the gentleman working the front desk was super accommodating and ensured we had everything we needed for our arrival. The location was awesome. We were walking distance from everywhere we wanted to go! The room was clean and comfortable and there is a great place to eat breakfast in the same building.

Deadwood is our favorite place for a quick getaway.

Deadwood is our favorite place for a quick getaway. We always have a great time and meet great people. The staff at any establishment is top notch. The one downside is the parking. If your hotel doesn't have designated parking or if you are just coming to town for a day, parking can be challenging sometimes. The Brothel Tour is great. We enjoy Friendship Tower.

Very good restaurants in the area... Silverado casino restaurant .. buffet in lower level .. Deadwood Miner's restaurant.. . those are just 2 that stood out . We thought the bus was a bit pricey .. $2.00 pp one way .OK if you are not indulging . Our thoughts if your inclined to walk do so .. Great walking for the "strip"

    Great town to visit.

Great town to visit. With all the things to see and do, I could have used 2 more days to visit. My first impressions on the internet were I didn't see the big draw. When I got there I was over impressed with all to see and do.

    Love the town!

Love the town! Everything is in walking distance; food, drink, gambling. Free alcohol when gambling too makes it a fun town. We always stay at the Bullock Hotel. The all you can eat buffets are great too!

The office staff were very helpful and friendly.

The office staff were very helpful and friendly. The steered us towards good places to eat and hiking spots with waterfalls. Our room was clean and nicely furnished. We appreciated having a freezer in the fridge. We were in the midst of a 2 week driving trip & traveled with snacks and lunch. The only disappointment was the small shower. While neither of us are big people, there was not much room to move in the shower stall. We managed and overall it was a pleasant stay.

Hotel was exactly what we were wanting and expecting. Not a chain hotel but that was the best part. Clean and staff were accommodating and friendly! The location was a short walk to Historic Main Street and had a trolley available twice an hour right outside the hotel to shuttle downtown also.
