Great localisation just a few meters from the ocean. Outside pool with great water. Spacious rooms. Good kitchen appliances. Despite the high price it was a nice stay, so if you can afford 600$ per night go ahead :)

The hotel and our room were very clean, never saw a bug, the towels were soft and big, the view was amazing, only steps away from the beach, quiet at night, comfortable beds and the staff was super nice!! I would definitely book again.

Duck is a great place for families and people who want a more quiet and relaxed beach experience. The wonderful boardwalk nearby is one of the best features of this beach community as well as the location situated between the ocean and the sound.Friendly local community and lots of shops and places to explore.

Duck is a quaint town with a beautiful boardwalk that meanders through the marsh. There are shops and restaurants on the boardwalk. There are painted horse statues throughout the area. The photos were taken on the boardwalk

The shops in town are interesting, but you have to drive to Kitty Hawk to get most things. The traffic is bad as the cars have to yield for crosswalks throughout town. Duck Doughnuts was great! The pier was nice on the sound as well.

Northern Duck is beautiful and quite serene.
Northern Duck is beautiful and quite serene. The problem is the traffic. It took us an hour and a half to go 11 miles around lunchtime on Friday. Getting in Saturday afternoon was even worse. They need to add a lane to the road. (Currently it’s one way each way). It’s crowded even during the week.

Lovely, walk-able, bike-able, expensive.
Lovely, walk-able, bike-able, expensive. Love this place, and it loved my wallet!
Everywhere we ate had a high sanitation grade and all places had delicious food! I don't know of anyone in town that does not offer good food and good service, I just have not experienced any bad restaurants - but they all cost a little too much!
Walking on the sound side or the beach side is fantastic, and the shops experienced had plenty of nice inventory. Kayaks, paddle boards, bicycles, and many other outside play items available for rent.

The location is fabulous, walkable distance to the Duck town boardwalk. Access to the ocean is great. There is parking at the beach access for those staying in units further back from the beach. Bed and sofa was extremely comfortable. Between the microwave and the hot plate, we were able to eat most of our meals in the unit. The units were fairly soundproof.
This was the second time we had the opportunity to stay at this specific house for our stay at the Outer Banks, and it was as pleasant a stay this time around compared to the last. The rental was clean, the view of the ocean was splendid, and the town of Duck was a pleasure to both walk and drive through.
We had a GREAT time. We had 2 minor issues which were addressed IMMEDIATELY by Seaside Vacations.
The location (Duck) is very peaceful, The property manager (Larry) was fantastic, I would recommend bicycles to get around.
How well it is maintained. That it is situated on the ocean, with access to the sound, as well. That the restaurant is excellent. And, that the hotel and restaurant staff is lovely and very accommodating.
