So, I am glad that I visited New Orleans. My first day was a bit of a snoozefest, but guess what? I stumbled upon four mates at the same hostel! We spent the rest of the entire trip catching up and having a blast. Was that the highlight of my trip? I think so because I had an amazing time at the hostel. It’s located on Canal Road, right in the heart of downtown New Orleans. It’s super close to Bourbon Street & the Frenchmen Street, , the riverfront too! You can easily walk to the riverfront or take a streetcar. The streetcar station is right next to the hostel, and the hostel itself is super clean and comfortable. The restrooms are spotless too! The staff is incredible. The breakfast was great. They offer basic breakfast options from 7 AM to 10 AM every day. The rooms are perfectly clean and there were no disturbances at all. I absolutely love this HI New Orleans Hostel. I’ll definitely be back next time and staying here again.

    Very questionable people renting rooms.

    Very questionable people renting rooms. Next to highway and food though. Be careful where you stay in that area. I would recommend Fredericksburg or Woodbridge pool hasn't been open in years. We frequently drive from NC to VA

    This place seemed to be filled with long-term renters!

    This place seemed to be filled with long-term renters! Construction workers and others. The hallways are really dirty. People living here put food trash and bags of diapers outside room door, but no staff to clean up! I asked if they would remove the trash from our hall =way and was told that "tenants" knew there was a large trash can to use in the stairwell at end of hall. Gross place. Creepy location with homeless loitering in parking lot.

    The room was very nice, comfortable, and clean!

    The room was very nice, comfortable, and clean! We were only there for one night as we traveled north for the holidays but it was a great room and the bed was very comfortable - we slept through the night! Thank you! I can not speak to the area as we arrived late in the day and left early in the morning. I would definitely stay there again, especially after our experience on the way home in a different hotel that I will not name here.

    I would give this hotel a 5 star!

    I would give this hotel a 5 star! Exceptional services , comfortable and clean room. Staff very courteous and professional. I would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family. If we are visiting this area again this hotel would be our only choice.

    I am honestly really disappointed.

    I am honestly really disappointed. I paid for a room for one night and when I arrived all the power was out. Everyone was out of the hotel when I arrived so I requested a refund. They never issued me a refund and I never even heard anything back.

    Well the people where really nice and the city was very...

    Well the people where really nice and the city was very clean .but the traffic lights took for ever and the traffic at times was awful. But any of the great restaurant was good we didnt eat at a bad place finding places was easy

    The property is very well maintained. It appeared new. Exceptionally clean. Staff professional and friendly. Linens crisp and fresh. Pillows and beds very comfortable. All furniture in like new condition. Water pressure good. Dove toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast buffet delicious. Keurig coffee pots in rooms with Eight o'clock coffee pods. Great, safe location, with shopping and restaurants walkable. Quiet for sleeping. Chick Fil A and IHOP are right there! We travel a lot, and we agreed this hotel is what every hotel should be.

    The location was perfect for our needs. We ended up only needing 1 room as our grandkids met us in the morning. The hotel staff checked us in early when we arrived and gave us a room on the back of the building - the green space side as requested. We will continue to book with Holiday Inn for future trips.
