This was a brilliant find. So much character, peace and relaxation. Riverside location and views to the forested hills. Also the history is genuinely interesting; the house was built by a noted Civil War era builder of covered bridges and Beverly has a lot of Civil War history.. By staying you are helping maintain a piece of history. Particularly liked the absence of a television (!), but also the free eggs courtesy of the owner’s chickens. The decor is sympathetic and adds to the experience if you are overdosed on chain hotels. Also very good value for money.
