The suite appeared to have been recently remodeled. It was nice, fresh, and clean. The front desk was kind. Location was great for accessing the Peninsula State Park and towns. Partial lake views. They have three Tesla chargers! I highly recommend this motel.

Pine Grove Resort in Ephraim includes free WiFi access. Peninsula State Park Golf Course is 5 minutes’ drive away.

Due to the time of year we didn’t get to enjoy the property much, but my husband did sit on a chair by the lake to read a few times when the sun was out. He very much enjoyed that.

My family and I have vacationed in Door Co for many years and enjoyed Fish Creek so much. Many activities and fun things to do; family (and pet) friendly, for all ages. Julie's has a delightful and delicious cafe; also "Not Licked Yet" Custard is a do-not-miss experience, as is "Wilson's Ice Cream in Ephraim, and 'Door Co Ice Cream Factory' in Sister Bay. Al Johnson's is a must also!

We stayed at CedarCourt Inn which is a great location for walking the town or down to the water. So many nice shops to visit and restaurants to eat at, as well as a couple of coffee and ice cream places. Fall decorations are just beautiful! We ate at The English Inn which was superb, attended the play at Penisula Theater, White Gull for breakfast and Blue Horse for a coffee. Took the sunset boat ride. Peaceful and great music. Weather was good too!

We come to Fish Creek because it's a more central location.

We come to Fish Creek because it's a more central location. Fish Creek itself is one large tourist trap with outrageous cost(s) on everything. There are many folks that don't seem to mind that, but it's not for us. We come for the natural beauty of Door County, it's uplifting for our souls. Washington Island is, in my opinion, well worth the money we spent to go over there. I was expecting there to be more tourist trap sites, but there weren't. I would reference Mackinaw City, MI and Mackinac Island to those who have been there. Mackinac Island is just one large retail grab (as is Fish Creek, Egg Harbor, etc.) Yes, once you get past the "main drag" there are other sites to visit, but to get to them you must either bicycle, walk, or take a very crowded horse drawn carriage; but the moment you step off the ferry on to the island it is just store after store after store, and my goodness, the amount of people is staggering. It is not pleasant in the slightest. Just "get off the ferry, spend your money and get out of everyone's way!" Same thing in Fish Creek, minus the ferry of course. It wasn't even close to that scenario on Washington Island. Just a quick side note: Unless you're a democrat, maybe wait until after the election is over before heading up there, because they have their signs up everywhere, and I mean everywhere. We go on vacation to get away from that shite, not be smashed over the head with it. Under recommendations for Fish Creek it is Restaurants, Shopping, Alcohol/Bars, Accessories Shopping. If you want Scenery, Nature, Relaxation, Sightseeing, Lakes, you need to get out of Fish Creek (Egg Harbor, Sisters Bay, Ellison Bay, et all) in order to partake in the more natural activities such as I've mentioned.

Could hear conversations of people in room next to us, and parking lot. Then woke up and heard footsteps above and man using the toilet. Evidently although cute, clean, great location building was poorly built . Won’t be back.

If you want to shop, this is a good place.

If you want to shop, this is a good place. If you don't, the crowds make it less than pleasant. We visited at the end of September, thus after the main tourist season, and the place was still jammed: hard to get in anywhere for breakfast without a long wait, dinners only if you managed to reserve. Obviously many people love it, but we (who came to Door County for the nature) will stay somewhere else another time. Fish Boil at Kettle Black was very nice. Breakfast at Julie's was good. Other restaurants we ate at were just OK.

    Fish Creek is hopping.

Fish Creek is hopping. Minutes south of Ephraim home of the famous Midsommar Apothecary and North of Egg Harbor. Centrally located to all small business shops and home to others like Castle Art. Local artisans sparkle everywhere.

We have stayed there many times. Great location for us, centrally located. Close to Peninsula State Park and downtown Fish Creek. In the middle of Door County. Nice size room. (king suite) Comfortable bed for both of us, I like a soft bed and my wife likes a firm bed.

The location was excellent: close to everything in Fish Creek, but far enough away to be quiet. The unit we occupied was generally fine, although not ideal.
