The receptionist was very nice. I stayed in room 211, which was spacious, clean, and appeared to have been recently remodeled. The shower was new and had plenty of hot water. The king-sized bed was very comfortable, and there was ample parking with good lighting.

We just wanted a place to sleep before our last stretch on the trip back to Dallas. The place is 6-7 hours from Dallas. The Chinese restaurant within a five minute walk was adequate with generous portions. The town is small enough it would not be hard to find other places to eat. The price of gas was relatively cheap in the stations nearby, close to the interstate.

What I liked most was that your essential stores were within a very short driving distance from each other. What I liked the least was there is no variety. There's one Walmart, one McDonald's, etc.

Check in was no problem.
Check in was no problem. It was the check out, Staff on duty was polite and courteous and helpful. Two other customers were not happy. Did not get involved with management as they have just taken over the motel and there were issues not related to my check in and check out. Advised of small issues and was thanked for the information, so they can fix the issue. The roadway into the motel needs some major repair due to the storms that came through the area the last year.

This was a stop over city on my way back to Texas from Ohio...
This was a stop over city on my way back to Texas from Ohio where I was visiting family. I made this trip twice in the last year. During Christmas I booked 1 night at the Red Roof Inn and during the following July, booked 1 night at the Super 8. I did not feel safe either time. The room door at the Red Roof Inn was not secure. The whole atmosphere of the Super 8 felt unsafe. There were some unsavory characters hanging about and it seemed like one may have checked in, though walked to the hotel rather than driving. The proprietor or desk clerk was not very available and almost never at the desk and doors were wide open when we arrived. Desk clerk also said the room was not ready so upgraded us. That was fine other than the fact that very few rooms seemed ready, I was the only one there at that time, about supper time, and I had booked 2 weeks before. While nothing happened to us either time, the conditions seemed unsafe and if someone had wanted to cause some harm, it would have been easier than usual to do so.

I have been visiting Forrest City every year, sometimes two or three times a year. This was our first trip here since November 2019. This is an up and coming area. I would love to see another restaurant that serve breakfast, lunch and dinner beside the Ole Saw Mill and the Waffle House. It would be a great asset to this area to have something like a Cracker Barrel, Bob Evans, Perkins, etc.

Surprisingly was bigger than expected with selection of eateries nearby I40. Gr8 for stopping between Memphis TN and Little Rock, AR. We had dinner at Don Jose, Mexican restaurant. Waitress was so nice & attentive! Easy to get around the main streets. Stayed at Holiday Inn Express, great facility!

We always enjoy a Hampton Inn. The staff in Forrest City was very helpful and friendly, our room was great and the breakfast was wonderful! There was a good variety to choose from. We will continue to stay with the Hampton Inn family when we travel!
