Located directly on Fort Lauderdale Beach, this iconic South Florida resort was formerly known as the Yankee Clippers. It features a contemporary ballroom and a state-of-the-art meeting room.

Poor service, ordered at restaurant bar order was not right and then they said would get manager who never came. Food overpriced and never correct.

The rooms were absolutely filthy. There was a blood soaked towel in the mini fridge when I checked into the room. The room was so filthy that I had to change rooms. The second room wasn't much better. The overall condition of the place was run down and dilapidated. This was an absolutely horrible experience

Fairfield Inn & Suites By Marriott Fort Lauderdale Downtown/Las Olas is set in Fort Lauderdale, 1312 feet from Las Olas Boulevard.

On the booking I put in 2026 and it booked it for 2025 so I am out 300$ . And on there site it says no refund. Never going to book of that site again. I would say thank you. But for what. Bad website I guess 😪

    We really enjoyed be able to walk to many restaurants & have ocean view seating. As packed as so many of the restaurants were, we never had trouble being seated in a timely manner. We also loved the proximity to near by Miami & Key West. We did day trips to each of those.

    During the winter season traffic is terrible, trying to find a place to park w/o having to pay $10-15 to park, having to wait an hour be seated even with a reservation is quite common. Would recommend the off season unless you enjoy those thing? Ron

    Walking daily .Absolute mountain of places to eat and drink.River taxis and other water boats a must.Ate great Tacos at Velvet Tacos.Found Riverside markets tavern and yet another different highly tasty food and hundreds of drinks to choose from.Scoobies at COCONUTS a must BAD. Pedestrian traffic signals favoured vehicles over pedestrians and some were dangerous after waiting and seeing vehicles one after another be given green lights so leaving walkers the thought they were next to cross only to find traffic flowing again.Ages before a white walking man appeared

    Had dinner at Sharky's Bar and Grill live music was great staff and the owner were also great. Hard Rock Casino was fun. Went fishing with Catch My Drift not so good, then went fishing with Starlight Fleet was great.

    I appreciate the fact that the hotel is within walking distance to the beach. Fort Lauderdale Beach, in particular, is nice because it's not overly crowded. Additionally, the hotel offers good value for its price, and the room I stayed in was clean. The staff are friendly, and check in and out is easy, its a affordable.
