Room was big enough. Beds were good, slept pretty well in them. Breakfast was ok, to get your day started (considering the price per night, breakfast was a bonus really). 24/7 coffee available in the lobby. Staff really helpful to giving eating recommendation and helpful information (also receiving some packages for me).

Fantastic location, beautiful updated room with a fireplace
Gettysburg is always a great place to visit. Though I've been here often and know a lot about the battle, I always learn something new. This time, unfortunately, I was on a tight schedule and could only stay 24 hours.

Our second visit years apart.
Our second visit years apart. A must stop at the new and much improved Park Visitor Center. Sign up for a Ranger to take you and your vehicle on a drive guided tour. For this second visit, we enjoyed the walk path from the Visitor Center to the central historic sites and monuments. (Meade Statue to High Water Mark to the PA Memorial) Easy mostly level walk but have water (sun screen and comfy foot wear) and snacks but be reminded its a round trip walk if too much for little ones in tow or grumbling teenagers or for some seniors. Our trek and mini walk tour took about 90 minutes plus and walked maybe 2 miles? For most a must drive and self guided tour to add many important sites. Easy to then drive and park in town to walk and look at shops or find a restaurant or a hotel stay. Glad our visits were weekdays in the off peak seasons and cool to moderate tempretures.

Another great trip to Gettysburg.
Another great trip to Gettysburg. We visit about three times a year, on special occasions, to eat dinner at the Dobbin House. We like visiting the little shops around town. Gettysburg is always a friendly little town.

Gettysburg is part history and needs to remembered as such, the lives lost. The serenity one feels standing in the battlefield. We did an auto tour which provided details. I really enjoyed Devils Den, Little Round Top as well as the shopping downtown.

Gettysburg is so rich in history you can’t get it in one trip. Remberance day is very special. A walk thru the national cemetery at evening is an awesome sight. Always eat a Battlefield fries. Must have Mr G’s ice cream

The property was well located and had everything we needed for our short stay. The property was clean and well presented with off street parking. Cindy was very helpful in providing an inflatable bed and bedding for my husband to use downstairs as he had injured his knee a few days before our arrival. Great place to stay for a visit to Gettysburg.
Breakfast was basic. Every time I went down the oatmeal was out. Bummer. It was still an hour to go for breakfast. I ate the same thing every day- small yogurt, small muffin and juice. But some hotels don’t even have breakfast.
The staff was extremely gracious and helpful!
The unit was nice, and easy access to attractions was a plus.
If we ever get the pleasure of visiting Gettysburg again, we’ll definitely stay here again.
