Lovely venue with nice rooms and a quiet and scenic location. Restaurant was good with decent meals and a nice selection of drinks. Loved the welcome drink! Staff were hit or miss, with some of the front desk/bar staff not always friendly or welcoming, while others were lovely.
The official hotel for Red Rocks Amphitheater, Origin Red Rocks, a Wyndham Hotel, is located 5.1 km from the music venue and offers shuttle services to and from the attraction.

We had an evening meal and drinks in the restaurant after a trans Atlantic flight, this was very good. We didn’t have breakfast the next morning.

The hospitality was great and the hosts was the kindest people. They even sat down and eat breakfast with us. We felt like home. If your into cosiness, this is it! The location is good, just a few minutes walk to the city center.

We visit Colorado from UK for a vacation and usually stay in Golden enroute to the Rockies every ski season to break the journey up after the long trans Atlantic flight. We find Golden is great. So far we have only stayed at Origins Red Rock. We have found a lovely breakfast stop in town the following day - Golden Diner on 12th street. Golden is a perfect little town, lovely winter walks along the creek. We finish our trip in Safeway before heading to our condo in the hills… seems to be cheaper than doing grocery shop nearer the Rockies.

GOLDEN IS A BEAUTIFUL SMALL TOWN.
GOLDEN IS A BEAUTIFUL SMALL TOWN. THE MOUNTAINS CAN BE SEEN FROM ALMOST ANYWHERE IN TOWN. THERE IS A CREEK THAT FLOWS THROUGH GOLDEN WHICH ADDS TO THE BEAUTY AND SERENITY OF THE TOWN. THERE ARE MANY SHOPS ON THE MAIN STREET THROUGH TOWN THAT ARE FUN TO LOOK THROUGH OR JUST ENJOY THE BEAUTY AND QUIETNESS OF THE TOWN.

Golden is a beautiful little town with lots of great restaurants and shopping. Proximity to so many Colorado locations is great too; Denver and Colorado springs are easy trips, the Rocky Mountains are very accessible to the west. Also a great location to see a show at Red Rocks.

We visited Lookout Mountain and the grave of buffalo bill.
We visited Lookout Mountain and the grave of buffalo bill. Great views here and a free attraction.
the Coors Brewery we attended for a tasting (the tours book up far in advance so be sure to book ahead). The tasting is good value for money and the staff were informative and friendly! The tasting room is nice and has lots of historic photographs to check out! Of course there is a gift shop with some great souvenirs and pricing was not bad!
We went to a concert at Red Rocks outside of Golden and we highly recommend checking this place out!
We would have liked more time to check out downtown Golden so we will need to return!

Love, love this town.
Love, love this town. You have to try the Buffalo Rose and make sure you try the Deli in the center of town ... best sandwiches. The Tea Shop called Old BarrelTea is an absolute must and the liquor store directly behind it as well lots of local bourbon whiskey and spirits. Love the pace and the friendly people here and its BEAUTIFUL!
