I recently stayed at the Best Western Harker Heights in Killeen, Texas, and the breakfast was a standout feature of my visit. They offered freshly brewed coffee that I needed, fresh fruit, and various homemade coffee cakes. Those cakes added a unique, homey touch you don’t often find at a smaller hotel breakfast, setting a warm and welcoming tone for the day.
The location only enhanced the experience. My floor featured a balcony—a lovely bonus that was perfect for enjoying my coffee in peace. Though the hotel sits right on the main street downtown, it remained surprisingly quiet, providing a comfortable retreat from the hustle and bustle. The property was spotless, well-maintained, and clearly well-cared-for, making my stay even more pleasant. If you’re seeking a cozy, convenient spot with an exceptional breakfast, the Best Western-Harker Heights in Killeen, Texas, is an excellent pick!

I was traveling home and was looking for a place to stay. I found this place, and YES. It is very clean, quiet, and YES. The Lady here is so nice and just a great person. We were talking as I checked in and mentioned some gifts for my grang daughter. She found a large box that I could fit everything. The room was very nice. It had a gaint butterfly blanket on the bed. The bed was perfectly firm for my comfort. Nice big bathroom. The a/c worked great. I'm staying again.

There was nothing exceptional about the breakfast. It was all very standard.
Renae was the perfect person to greet anyone coming in,...
Renae was the perfect person to greet anyone coming in, going out, he always had a great smile and personality. Ashbhag was also kind attentive, thoughtful and very pleasant. She always asked me what I needed. I appreciated everything about my stay except the carpet was always wet. I thought maybe from the air conditioner. However I had on the perfect shoes for that situation and once I let the front desk know, (Kenya I think) that issue was resolved. I could walk very short distances for fast food or the HEB grocery right across the street. I will definitely come back to Best Western Harker Heights on my next visit to Killeen. Thank you all for a comfortable stay. Oh and I was able to bring my work and work in my room. Awesome!!!

We wanted to stay in Salado but this hotel was the closest available place. Seventeen minutes away and a pretty drive. This hotel turned out to be a great place to stay and lots of places to eat .
The hotel has just been renovated and everything is fresh and new .
Large room and comfy bed with a large tv.
This is truly *zen* space. Sparkling cleanliness, it was such as pleasant and restful place to stay after traveling for 14 hours. The owners are very responsive, and kindly answered any of my questions I had. It does make a big difference when a hotel is this comfortable in every way.
The staff was excellent. The night attendant (Jessica)was great. She secure my furniture and and give some plastic to help cover it because of the rain. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast was good. Overall it was one of the best hotels I've have visited.
What wasn't to like?! This hotel is clean, clean, clean! The breakfast was delicious and always stocked even close to closing time. Everything was seriously wonderful! Great location, with in an hour or 2 to most major Texas attractions. We had a wonderful trip.
