Cheap, clean, comfortable, quiet. Way better than it looks from the outside. I took the king upgrade for a few bucks more which is recommended. Outdoor pool looked clean and well maintained.

It's been 17 years since last staying here. Quality has diminished significantly!
Front door was broken, had to use side entrance. Breakfast options were limited to cold stale cereal or instant oatmeal and yogurt. No bread, no fruit, no waffles.
We had a whirlpool room that didn't work and also doubled as the shower. In the main part of the room, not in the bathroom.
No overhead lights and no lighting at all near the tub. Also no towel rack near the tub/shower. Only place to put towels was on back corner of tub wall (or floor -gross).
Exposed wires above bed.
Harrison is a friendly, safe place to visit. There are plenty of restaurants, hotels, shopping and venues in the area. Branson is a 30 minute drive and Eureka Springs is close. Hiking, canoeing, scenic natural overlooks, local flavor...who could ask for more.

Wish I would have taken photos for you. We drove home, took us 4 hours, so we got home at 1:11am.

Harrison is typical small town America in the best sense of the idea. Place to see... Horseshoe Canyon Ranch just down the road in Jasper. Medical staff NRRMC and Arkansas Orthopedics, especially Dr. Cutler, are amazing. The people of the town are helpful and friendly. Kirkland's Deli has fabulous food and a friendly staff. Harrison is only 40 minutes south of Branson, MO.

I found a lovely restaurant across from the courthouse.
I found a lovely restaurant across from the courthouse. The food was excellent. I spent a great deal of time traveling towards Marshall. The scenery was beautiful but you have to keep a sharp eye on the road as the curves, hills and downgrades take getting used to if you are not familiar with them.

Beautiful hotel! Very sweet front desk lady!
This is the second "historic" hotel I've ever stayed in and both times, love love loved! Nothing beats the quietness and peace. The only thing that i didn't get to check out was the restaurant and bar downstairs. Hopefully, there will be a next visit in my future!
Amazing historic hotel in the heart of downtown Harrison. The Building exterior and lobby have been wonderfully kept up in what appears to be their original condition. The staff was very helpful and friendly, appears to be a family run endeavor.
