Everything was perfect! The room was clean, the location was very peaceful, and it was conveniently close to Amish Village. However, the breakfast could be improved. The use of plastic cutlery and the limited menu were a bit disappointing. Other than that, everything was excellent, and I highly recommend this place!

Although the area is beautiful, it is somewhat hard to see the commercialization of a society that prides themselves on a more simplistic lifestyle. However, everyone is very friendly and there is a lot to see if you really want to try to immerse yourself into a different lifestyle.

The Brass Eagle in Gap had wonderful food and service and was open on Sunday!! We loved the farm tour! We got to tour some of the shops, ate soft pretzels, and homemade root beer! The quilt shops were amazing! Beautiful work! We have outdoor furniture made by Lancaster artesians on our porch and deck in Virginia!

What a beautiful part of the country.

What a beautiful part of the country. We stayed here as we visited Hershey Park because all the closer motels had complaints about cockroaches. (This one didn't.) The area is an eclectic mix of the traditional and modern. Amish people work the fields and ride around in a horse and buggy, and then you have jackasses who go flying by in pickup trucks. You'll see people in the fields plowing with horses, but the motel still has Wi-Fi. We didn't do much in Intercourse itself, though. We did visit an area called something like kettle kitchen, which was a bunch of shops that sold local stuff. The local stuff was pretty expensive, and the cheaper stuff (still pretty pricey) was shipped in from elsewhere. I do wish I had had the time to go on an "Amish tour" or learn more about the people, though.

Great place to go and unwind, and take a deep breath. Great places to shop, stay, and eat. When you need a break from the daily routine, I highly suggest this area to disconnect and realize what is really important.

We throughly enjoyed everything from the friendly attentive staff at check in, the housekeeping staff, especially Abigail who we had attending our room. She was the friendliest person with an exceptionally high standard of cleanliness!! The pool was huge, clean and equipped with lots of clean towels. The breakfast was plentiful with a variety of food to suit everyone. The whole hotel was cozy, warm and inviting. Truly home to home experience.

great location in the centre of Intercourse. A very short walk to Kitchen Kettle Village and some fantastic quilt and quilt fabric stores. the swimming pool was a major bonus especially with the very hot weather at the end of our stay. Staff, whether front desk, domestic or catering, were always cheerful and helpful.

Standard breakfast, but good. Spacious room (it was a king suite). Hotel common areas are really cozy, it feels like you are in a mountain cabin. Good location if you want to visit the Dutch Country and be a little bit apart of a more busy Lancaster area.
