The breakfast set up was good. I expected scrambled eggs and sausage. Then I realized it was probably not available this time of year due to how many guests at the hotel.

Ithaca is a beautiful town full of natural beauty, featuring lots of hiking trails, gorges and waterfalls; great for a quiet getaway. There’s a nice downtown with wide, cobblestone, pedestrian only shopping area that feels almost European. Good, dining and low-key shopping.

Wish we had spent more time there.
Wish we had spent more time there. Cliffside hikes, Buttermilk Falls and natural pools are what we missed. We were there for College hockey playoffs but we did have time to visit charming downtown. Lots of shopping and restaurants. Very, very friendly and welcoming locals.

Wow, it's true-- there are NUMEROUS waterfalls, some within walking distance. Cornell Campus is enormous. I got lost. It contains an arboretum and don't miss the on-campus creamery. There are wonderful cafes, great coffee, great ethnic food, shops, bookstores, and of course Moosewood Restaurant. The glacial ravines and trails and bridges all over town are incredible. There are several state parks to visit and even a swimming hole with diving board under a waterfall, also nearby. Don't miss the Suffragette Museum, the wineries, and the wildlife refuge on a side trip to Seneca Falls.

I loved Buttermilk Falls State Park, Cascadilla Gorge Trail, Ithaca Falls, and the Cornell University Campus. I would have liked to visit more of the falls and state parks, but I ran out of time. The hiking and gorges are incredible, if you're into nature.

It's a small little town.
It's a small little town. There are many nice parks, falls, and wineries to see. If you like to walk, everything is walkable. Nice for photography and drone shots. The only thing is that stores, bars, and restaurants close early. :) Other than a very peaceful place.

The hotel was in a great location -- convenient to the shops and restaurants of downtown Ithaca, as well as to the Ithaca College and Cornell campuses. Parking was convenient about a block away, with ample space to pull up and unload. The building itself appears new and has a cool vibe. Our room was bigger than expected. Free Netflix was nice. The hotel was clean and beds/bath very comfortable. A real treat.
Location is very convenient at the Ithaca Commons, and 10 or 100m from two different bus stops serving the Cornell campus. Given limited quality dining options at CollegeTown, the Commons is a good alternative as its within walking distance to a number of dining places.
wifi did not work properly, totally unreliable. no hotel/inn/property nowadays deserve anything more than a fair rating if the wifi could not connect properly regardless of how good other elements are.
