Koloa – 271 hotels and places to stay

Located in Koloa, a 8-minute walk from Kiahuna Beach, Sheraton Kauai Resort Villas has accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness center and a restaurant.

The hotel itself is beautiful, overall clean and comfortable However, the ask for check out at 10am, not allowing even a minute after and this is too early in my opinion.

Located on the southern tip of Kauai Island, Koloa Landing At Poipu Beach features 2 resort-style pools and a state-of-the-art fitness center.

Very comfortable (except the hard sofa). Wonderful kitchen, bedrooms, baths and comfy beds. All hotel staff, including housekeeping, were pleasant and competent. All staff frequently greeted us with Aloha or Mahalo upon meeting. My wife really liked the swimming pool and did her daily walking therapy there.

Set amid river pools and tropical gardens, the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa features a golf course, 7 restaurants and a spa. Each guest room includes a private balcony.

The pools were wonderful, especially the lazy river and salt water lagoon. The jacuzzis were rather small but nicely situated. Beautiful landscaping and engaging birds. Our room had a lovely ocean and beach view and outside seating area. The food, drink and service was excellent. We loved the luau and the live music on the Seaview Terrace.

Nestled on 20 acres on Kaua'i's southern shoreline, Sheraton Kauai Resort offers 2 outdoor pools.

Great view from the fourth-floor balcony, the elevators are very fast. Great water pressure. The room was nice and quiet. The pool area is amazing. Especially in the later afternoon when the hottub gets shade. Lots of lounge chairs.

The location! It is a short walk to a beautiful beach! We enjoyed nightly sunsets and it was easy to come and go from the beach. The property is also lovely to walk through! It’s also centrally located for other things we were doing. Plenty of dining options nearby. The condo was well equipped with all the beach gear and the towels were included daily for the beach. The condo has AC, which was nice for sleeping. When it didn’t work, maintenance came out immediately and fixed things! The owner is very responsive, communicates well and quickly and took care of everything! The rooms and baths were all comfortable and modern. Excellent hot water and water pressure in the showers and lots of pillows and blankets to choose from for comfortable sleeping!

Koloa is a perfect location for a south shore visit.

Koloa is a perfect location for a south shore visit. We especially liked Poipu beach and the historic old town Koloa. The Koloa Fish Market is a great place to eat in or take out fresh fish meals. From Koloa it was very easy to explore Waimea Canyon, which is a must see. Great nearby golf course options as well.

We enjoyed the view of the jungle-like gardens, the short walk to baby beach, the convenience to other beaches, and the nearness to Waimea Canyon. For families with small children, the 2nd bedroom in the loft might not be safe. There were no condiments available in the kitchen so bring your own.

It was so beautiful, the locals were so kind and inviting. We went to poipu beach and there were 20 turtles one of the nights we were there. The food was awesome. We ate at Kenji Burgers, Brennekes, Sunday brunch at The Grand Hiatt, We hope to come back again some day.

A warm. historic town that offers just what we needed as far as drug store, groceries, etc. We happened to be there during Koloa Harvest Day parade. How special! Lovely, friendly people. We had a very special meal at Keoki's Paradise. Fantastic food and excellent service! Our family commented repeatedly that we chose the best island (Kauai) and the best location (South Shore). A vacation we will never forget!

Nice beaches and good sightseeing. A tour along the coast and a visit to Weimea Canyon State Park is a must. The rivers and the waterfalls is worth visiting. We stayed 4 nights in Princeville/Hanalei and 4 nights in Koloa/Poipu. That is recommended.

Although weather was windy and rainy the first few days, it then got sunny and was lovely. A nice beach (Poipu) is very close (loved the sea turtles resting in the sand!) Kalapaki Joe's Happy Hour is a "must do"!! Advertised as "the best Happy Hour" in Hawaii, and we'd have to agree!! Wish biking had been better--bike lanes are very narrow and on quite busy roads.

Clean, nice accommodation in a very new development near Poipu Beach. Very comfortable and spacious, the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were very nice. The view from the small porch was quite nice for sunsets and watching people play golf.
