We went there for a family funeral so found the motel handy to our destination. We would have liked at least one comfortable chair for reading and because of dietary limits we didn’t eat the breakfast offered. The room was clean, warm and the bed comfortable so we’re satisfied with the things we absolutely needed.

2nd time we stayed overnight in OYO Lamberton on our way back to Chicago from South Dakota. My husband and I truly had a much needed restful sleep. Dru, was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. When we came for our 2nd time overnight, Dru gave us the same room and the bed was fixed the way I wanted and all the requests I asked like extra pillows, pillow cases, flat sheets during our 1st stay were neatly placed on the bed. That was so sweet, sensitive and a top notch service!!! I was really amazed to see how the bed was done according to my specs. Pillows and bed were freshly made!! Clean toilet and shower. We highly recommend this accomodation to travellers. P.S.Dru, thank you for making our 2 seperate overnight stay comfortable. Pls thank your Mom for the beautiful Mexican rice. Missing Ruby!! You know how to reach us... :)

Cute small town tucked in the middle of gorgeous corn fields. As of now (September 2020) the town is overrun with Trump signs, more than I’ve seen in one place. If you are part of any group he’s attacked or denigrated with his words and/or policy, you might get an unwelcoming vibe, as I did.
